Re that NYT interview. I doubt very much that Trump used those words. I suspect the Journo is doing a fair bit of paraphrasing and condensing there.

I am not 100% of course, a strong suspicion.

And this sort of annoys me with the press. I have watched a lot of his rallies live on streaming, and the guy is barely coherent, not lucid as reported in that NYT summary.

His last UN speech is a good example. I watched that live, and what a rambling mess. For sure, his wild claims were reported at the time, but I am sure if more of what he says was reported verbatim, more people would be aware of just how "bigly" bad his thinking process appears to be.

They provide a video of the interview as one of the "click here" links. If someone can link to it that would be great, but I don't seem to be able to. I saw no point in including the words "Video link here" because it, like the others, wouldn't work from this copy.

All journalists have to condense his maunderings to try to get them to make even a modicum of sense!

Following links in the NYT, I’ve only just realised that in a bid to get on Trump’s right side, Machado has offered to give him her own Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, that’s not how the whole thing works, surely? Won’t the Nobel Peace Prize Committee have something to say about it?

I think she can give it to whoever she wants. It doesn't change the fact it was awarded to her.

Has anyone seen the video apparently filmed by ICE bodycam? Is it real?

They just showed it on C4 News, and discussed it with a previous head of ICE (from round about 2014 I think). So I think it must be.

Obviously, the libtard snowflakes quickly edited the videos to make them longer to show something that didn’t happen. Or does it not work like that?

In the Channel 4 interview the ex-head of ice was saying that watching it just proved to him it needs proper analysis and people in positions of authority shouldn't be rushing to judgement- I admit I was only half listening but I got the impression he was being critical of Vance specifically.

Is that why he is the ex-head: because he thinks critically?

I’ve seen the video but without sound (putting DD to bed!) I’m firmly on the side of not shooting people in the face but am I right in thinking she does actually clip him as she tries to drive away (not that that’s an excuse!)

I don't think she clips the shooter; I don't think her car hits anyone before she is shot dead. Certainly the ICE agents all seem to be unhurt as they walk around after the shooting.

I wasn’t quite sure if she clips him or the footage jolts as he puts his phone away to shoot her. Either way it was a completely unjustified use of deadly force. Her poor family.

The only agent her car might have clipped would be the one on the passenger side; he wasn't visible in the video as she tried to escape from these dangerous nutters who were attacking her (as I suspect she saw it). The one who shot her was in view all the time and I couldn't see any sign of him being clipped by her car.

We have been told he had been hit and dragged by a car on a previous occasion, so he might have been reliving that when he shot her in the face at point-blank range.

I could not understand this new video- I thought she was in a black car but this one was dark red. Was she the smiling woman in a hat (in the car, not walking around outside)?
