What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

Lunch: Two slices of buttered wholemeal toast and a matje herring; an apple

Dinner: Prawn and mixed veg stir-fry, Singapore noodles, Chinese five spice sauce; another apple

Drinks: Seven cups of tea, two pints of apple & pear squash

B - porridge with blueberries, banana, honey and sunflower seeds
S - banana
L - jacket potato, cheddar cheese. Beetroot chutney, side salad. Satsuma
s - apple, popcorn, a couple of haribo sweets
D - bean chilli, rice, Greek yoghurt, avocado, grated cheese.

No breakfast
An individual ham and cheese quiche
A large piece of chocolate cake
A medium jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn mayo with a rocket and advocado salad with olive oil and apple cider vinegar dressing
Thursday is my anything goes day as I have lunch with an elderly relative who gets it all ready, most days I’m a one meal
only gal….

Not posted the last few days, it’s been manic and food has fallen by the wayside.

B- none

L- Itsu katsu instant noodle pot and some lentil crisps

D- homemade Singapore noodles and prawn crackers

S- some home made malteser brownie, big bowl granola with vanilla yoghurt and banana, a slice of wholemeal toast with Philadelphia and marmite

A little hot pasta and meatball thing in Caffè Nero, and a vanilla flat white and two stroopwaffels

Salmon fillet, cavolo nero, carrots and Merchant Gourmet tomato lentils

Five or six teas, two cans of Diet Coke, a pint of squash

Yesterday
B Greek yoghurt ‘mixed with kefir and chia and left overnight. In the morning I heat frozen berries and pour on with a few walnut halves. It’s so delicious and luxurious when the chia seeds have swollen- it’s like thickly whipped cream.
L tuna salad with added edamame and sweetcorn dressed with a yoghurt/ mayo combo.
Apple, satsuma
S small bag of salted proper popcorn
D toasted sourdough with edamame purée/dip ( whizzed up edamame, yoghurt, olive oil, garlic and parsley with S&P) a pear
2 small beers. Handful of almonds.
