What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

B 2 fried eggs in a wholemeal pitta with mashed half a small avocado and sirracha sauce.
L leftover sardine pasta
D Tomato lentils with prawns, rocket salad.
3 glasses red wine over the afternoon/ evening.

B- porridge made with almond milk and berries and some peanut butter

L- lentil soup and a wholemeal roll

D- gammon, mash and runner beans

Snacks- some raspberry and white chocolate blonde I made, Greek yoghurt with honey and banana, some watermelon and a random slice of toast with marmite

I got home at 3am yesterday morning so not sure if I should include the gyros I ate while waiting for a cab 😭
i woke up late and had fish pate on toast
lunch was pepperoni and jalapeno pizza in a restaurant with 2 large glasses of wine - my car is still there

For dinner I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, coleslaw, corn on the cob, salad, mango salsa - more wine.

B - Porridge with oat milk, prunes, walnuts and flaxseeds

L - Butternut squash and chilli soup

D - Tofu, roasted tomatoes, aubergine, courgette and onion pasta

S - Soya yogurt, an orange, peanuts and almonds

L leftover beef mushroom pie, creamed potatoes and roasted veg

S 3 oreos

D roasted cherry tomato and feta pasta, mixed salad and slice of focaccia

lots of tea

Today

L half n' half of salsiccia pasta in creamy truffe sauce and a pizza with rocket, sundried cherry toms, Parma ham and Grana Padano.

Lots of tea
2 black coffees
sugar free Ribena squash
Scheppes Lemon

Lunch was a large meal as we were out for late Valentines. No more food after that feast!

L: cauliflower soup with half a cheese toastie
S: 2 slices raisin bread with cream cheese, 3 rice cakes with cheese
D: quorn sausages with roasted veg and few spoons of gravy.

Homemade bread and butter pudding with chocolate chips
2 small packets of mini cheddars

Did a fry-up for brunch. I had 2 sausages an egg, some baked beans and a slice of thick white bread buttered. With tea.

Snack - 2 kiwi fruit

Dinner - spaghetti carbonara (homemade) and half a demi baguette buttered

Small bowl of vanilla ice cream with some caramel sauce

1.5 glasses of red wine

L - took DDs to McDonald's. I had a fillet of fish, some mozzarella sticks and a diet coke.

D - chicken casserole with leeks, barley, split lentils and carrots. Plus too much homemade soda bread.

S - a can of kombucha.

Snacks- a piece of plain sponge cake (test bake), banana and two paw patrol yoghurts that needed using, big bowl of mini weetabix fruit and nut with warm almond milk
