What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

Brunch- porridge and a banana.

About 2L of water.
1 cup of tea.

Lunch - Jerk mackerel on malted toast
Snack - Coconut Skyr and a handful of raisins
Dinner - Wholemeal penne with tuna and sweetcorn in a homemade tomato chilli sauce. While I was cooking it I ate several anchovies and a raw carrot for some reason.

Drinks: five cups of tea, a pint of apple and pear squash and two cans of Cherry Coke Zero

Oat milk protein shake

Protein porridge with chia seeds, banana, walnuts, cinnamon

Port Salut and sourdough crackers

Didn't fancy proper dinner so had baby cucumbers, spicy chorizo, grapes, salt and vinegar crisps

I’m pregnant and yesterday was an intense nausea day, I had to eat my way through it.

Two slices of toast with butter and marmite
A chocolate chip Belvita bar
Two chocolate eclairs (a few hours apart)
A slice of pizza from Greggs (heavenly)
Steak pie, peas and oven chips, but I could only stomach the chips and a few peas

L- chicken noodle soup and a whole meal roll

D- chilli prawn linguine with some extra veg on the side

snacks- some cake at playgroup with my daughter, a banana and some yoghurt, going to have some toast and marmite when my daughter decides to go to bed!

D - museli with blueberries and Greek yoghurt
T - meatballs with spaghetti, onions and a homemade pasta sauce. One small piece of garlic bread.
s - 2 small Kit Kats, banana, a pear.
drinks - big mug of black coffee, can and a half of Pepsi max, 1.5 litre of weak squash.

Mon - Jacket potato with roast chicken, mayo avocado and sweetcorn
Thai takeaway - 1 large veg spring roll, 1 satay chicken, 2 prawn toast, 2 king prawns in breadcrumbs Lots of tea and a lime juice with sparkling water

Today - Chicken, mayo, sweetcorn and avocado sandwich

Chicken kiev with brocolli

D roast chicken thighs with roasted veg and bulgur wheat. Orange
Water and green tea all day. Will have a camomile tea this evening.

L jacket potato with vegan cheese and beans

D avocado, tomato, seeds and tofu sandwich on sourdough with hash brown bites. Tiny bowl of soya yoghurt with grainless granola, maple syrup and an oat biscuit

S decaf teas and coffee with almond milk, dark hazelnut chocolate, half an egg

You poor thing! I can well remember the sicky hungry feeling. I survived on lots of fried things - which was not the normal diet at all!!! I hope this phase passes quickly and you are soon enjoying your food again.

Yesterday

L pulled pork and coleslaw sandwich

D scallops in herby lemon butter with steamed leeks and rice noodles
2 kiwis

Lots of tea
salted caramel coffee
tonic water

Didn’t have any breakfast.

Lunch: smoked salmon, avocado and egg mayo baguette from Pret

Snack: two shortbread biscuits my colleague offered me

Dinner: haven’t had it yet but DP’s out this evening and I can’t be arsed cooking from scratch so I’m going to have a bowl of Merchant Gourmet Black Dhal with a poached egg and chopped spring onions on top.

Drinks: So far I’ve had around six cups of tea and two Diet Cokes.

McDonalds cheese and egg McMuffin, three (yep) hash browns and a hot chocolate
Some Dairy Milk
Salt and vinegar Squares
Wholegrain pasta with a homemade tomato and carrot sauce
Falafels, hummus, various salads, chilli sauce
