What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

Today has been a nutritious disaster but incredible for comfort food 😅

B- porridge made with almond milk and berries

L- chicken noodle soup and white baguette

D- 6 chicken nuggets, fries and Coke Zero at McDonald’s

Snacks- 2 Biscoff biscuits at hair dressers, a Biscoff ice cream sandwich and a mini eggs cake bar

Snack - two Tuc cheese biscuits they gave me after I donated blood
Lunch - cottage cheese, a chopped up pear, sultanas and walnuts
Dinner - beans on two slices of malted bread buttered toast
Drinks - six cups of tea, two pints of lemon squash, a hot chocolate, two glasses of absinthe

A satsuma and a coffee for breakfast. Lunch was 2 left over sausages with beans and a slice of bread and butter
we are having chicken shish tawook, halloumi, hummus, pitta, chick pea salad, tabbouleh and fatoush.

Snacks- lots of melon as I overbought, shared a big cookie with my daughter at soft play, had some mince pie porridge just now and a few peanut butter pretzels
