What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

Banana, 2 babybel lite, protein shake

B- predictably I missed it again

L- chicken and vegetable soup, mini breadsticks with hummus

D- half a vegetable pizza (using up freezer stash for a lazy dinner) with a rocket and baby leaf based side salad

Snacks- gingerbread heart biscuit from Costa, big bowl melon and dragonfruit (not a fan, but paid a fortune earlier in week for my daughter who said she loves it but doesn’t want to eat it!) and a bowl of porridge (50g oats) made with almond milk and marmite caramel sauce

L sweet potato, edamame and azuki bean salad, babaganoush, hummus, beetroot, 2 higgidy mushroom rolls, soya protein yoghurt with dried fruit/flaxseed/nuts

D salad with roast root veg, edamame and azuki beans, falafels, hummus, babaganoush, 1 higgidy roll. Almond yoghurt with grapes, dried fruit and nuts

S decaf tea and coffee with oat milk, lentil chips, Sanpellegrino, one biscuit, breadsticks

a homemade frozen coconut yoghurt and pineapple bar in white chocolate

Yesterday

Salad with poached salmon.

Smoked tofu with kimchi, steamed veg and rice (DP made, quite plain as he was also looking after the kids/feeding it to the kids minus the kimchi)

Then it was snack Friday, so we had

0.0 Guinness
Hummus with some seeds sprinkled on top, those skinny bread sticks, mixed nuts, olives, and a pot of chili pickles with cheese, from m&s

Marmite caramel sauce @onlyhereforthefood 😲 do you make it yourself?

It’s from M&S! I think they are discontinuing it though as they’ve been selling it off super cheap! I have four bottles in hand just in case, but I think I may be the only fan!

Snack: A sesame seed 'chikki' and a couple of lotus biscuits

D: Lidl smoky chicken salad, shared a pack of chicken katsu dragon rolls with DH, and a bar of Galaxy

L- wholemeal roll with ham and salad, half a bag of wotsits that my daughter didn’t want

D- home made chicken pad Thai

Snacks- I’m baking for an order later so probably a lot of chocolat3 chips! Otherwise it’s been lots of melon, some pretzels, a kinder joy egg and later I have a pb&j Reese’s cup to devour when the little lady goes to bed
