What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

L 2 x buns + half a bar of bourneville

D chicken mushroom pie, green beans, carrots, boiled potatoes
strawberry yoghurt

lots of tea
paracetamol!!!

L - Lentil and carrot soup

D - Mushroom wellington, roast potatoes, peas, carrots and cabbage

S - Soya yogurt, dark chocolate

B - a cappuccino

L - avocado on toast with mixed seeds and a side of hash browns

D - roast pork with all the trimmings, a couple of squares of dark chocolate and a glass of wine

Today

B - a latte and a green smoothie (apple, cucumber and spinach)

L - kefir yoghurt, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, walnuts, pecans and chia seeds plus a cup of tea

D - pea and ham soup and a two slices of seeded bread with butter

Greek yoghurt and blueberries

Thai meal with vegetable spring roll, chicken satay, veg meal with cashew nuts, peppers, onions, baby corn, green beans, broccoli pineapple rice.

Lime juice x 2 tea x 4

L- was at a friends house and she made scrambled egg on toast for us

D- Chinese chicken curry and rice with a few prawn crackers

Snacks- Apple and grapes, some breadsticks and hummus, bowl of porridge with marmite caramel sauce just now

B oat milk cappuccino, banana pancake (leftover from baby weaning), coconut yoghurt and prunes

L teriyaki tofu and mixed bean salad, some garlic bread

D quorn spag bol, almond raspberry yoghurt with sprinkle of flaxseed/nuts/raisins

S decaf tea and coffee with oat/almond milk, one breadstick and a couple of olives

Yesterday I had a banana for breakfast and some cold roast chicken and a pear for lunch. Then I spent all afternoon at a hospital appointment with my DP and after that he fancied going out because he'd had better news than he'd thought, so we went to a local restaurant and I had tuna and black olive pate with rocket and toast, an nduja pizza and a white chocolate and ginger cheesecake, plus an amaretto sour and an Aperol spritz. About six cups of tea and two or three pints of apple & pear squash throughout the day.

B - 3 cream crackers, 2 scrambled eggs with lean protein chilli cheddar. Homemade skinny cappuccino

L - in Caffè Nero now having a large skinny cappuccino and a cheese and tomato tostati

D - planning Nando’s deliveroo, but I might get the M and S Nando’s rice - tastes better and less calories

Breakfast: Porridge with chia seeds and a glass of apple juice
Mid morning snack: Homemade biscuit and a cup of tea
Lunch: 2 slices of gluten free bread with an egg, a packet of tomato sauce crisps and a can of diet irn bru
Afternoon snack: Homemade biscuit and a cup of tea
Tea: Cottage pie

I expect to eat some carrot sticks and a yogurt as evening snacks. Maybe some hazelnuts. There’s also some cinnamon bun mochi in the freezer calling my name but given I’ve indulged in 2 delicious but calorific homemade biscuits today, those mochi will have to be kept for another day!

L-protein oats, grated apple and berries

D- BBQ veggie tofu bowl, roasted seaweed, tin peaches

S- 9 biscuits, peanutbutter and jam sandwich, 2 cereal bars, packet crisps, soya yoghurt, sesame snaps, half a bagel!😬

(Im not so much working nightshifts at the moment as managing to fit some work in between my constant grazing!LOL).😄

Couldn't taste much as full of cold.

Homemade muesli concoction with kefir and banana.

Baked potato with butter and cheese and tuna and red cabbage coleslaw.

Decaf café con leche with a mini ensaimada - traditional Balearic pastry with custard topping and it had a cherry on top!

Cheddar and goats cheese omelette with homemeal bread and butter.
Orange.

I can't eat early so I start with a banana at about 11.

Lunch. - chicken salad with chia seeds and croutons. Packet of lentils crisps. Watermelon.

Dinner - steak with new potatoes and butter beans. 2 mini creme eggs and a mini daim egg.
3 or 4 cups of tea.
