What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

B: soya greek yogurt with protein granola and blueberries
L: vegetable soup and 2 slices Heylo high protein seeded bread
D: salmon fillet with stir fried veg
S: 2 chocolate biscuits, a protein pudding with a spoon of granola over, 2 tangerines and a kiwi fruit.

Mmmm I might have eggs for breakfast tomorrow, I’m inspired!

Breakfast: overnight oats with kefir, grated apple, cinnamon, pecans, walnuts and toasted seeds
soya milk matcha tea

snack: sugar snap peas and a coffee

lunch: last night’s chicken and chickpea tagine with couscous

snack: 2 slices sourdough bread (freshly baked) and butter. Handful tortilla crisps with mashed limey avocado. Handful of pistachios.

dinner: salmon, potatoes, tomatoes and broccoli with a dill and broad bean pesto

Lunch - 3 egg omelette with peppers and some cheese
banana with some natural peanut butter

Tea- made a burrito bowl with chicken thighs in some home made seasoning, romaine lettuce, Mexican rice , black beans, refried beans, some shredded cheese and a little garlic mayo. Was so delicious!!

Some home made healthy (ish) granola with Greek yoghurt and strawberries

I did HIIT and core work today plus 10k steps and so needed some extra protein so had about 100g all together. Ideally should have been more but was really busy at work

B caramel soya latte

L 2.5 boiled eggs, hot cross bun, prunes

D Thai yellow tofu curry, coconut rice, chips. Coconut macaroon with a coconut chocolate pot and a small amount dark chocolate with seeds and cherries in it

S decaf tea and coffee with soya milk, two corn puffs, protein shake, banana, blood orange, nuts, corn/pea/potato stick (testing a baby weaning creation)

Snack - slice sourdough toast with butter (hungry due to pilates and dog walk and lunch being late)
L - pasta with homemade pesto, longley farm yogurt
Snack - slice Christmas cake, hot chocolate (dinner not until 9.30pm)
D - pearl barley mushroom risotto
Snack - crisps

L - Homemade chicken and veg soup, slice of granary bread and butter
D - sweet and sour chicken from Gousto recipe box, I added extra veg, with rice

Breakfast - Cappuccino and an apple/matcha/lion's mane shot

Lunch - poached eggs on rye bread topped with mixed seeds

Dinner - broccoli and tomato quiche, roasted carrots and a rocket, spinach and watercress salad

Snack - one of the lemon shortbread biscuits I baked with DDs yesterday.

L: a flat white at my physio appointment (hectic day)

D: red, white and black quinoa with red onions, butternut squash cubes, peas, peppers, carrots, spring onions and chicken, in a ginger and lime dressing. Bowl of blueberries and a Granny Smith.

I don’t eat breakfast.
L: homemade chapati with Asian turkey meatballs, raw spinach and an Asian peanut sauce
D: Coconut miso broth with egg noodles, fish and boc choy
S: Bowl of Greek yoghurt with fruit and honey and the last one of my box of Xmas choccies.

B- missed as once again running late for work

L- Itsu katsu noodle pot, salt and vinegar french fry crisps

D- 4 Richmond veggie sausages in two slices wholemeal bread, side salad

Snacks- mini eggs cake bar, a banana, half a mango and I have a bag of mini eggs for when my daughter goes to bed as my husband is away and I don’t fancy sharing
