What did you eat today?
I love reading what people have (and getting new ideas/recipes).
My new year new habit is to have a side of veg with each meal (and eat it first).

Breakfast - Sourdough toast with soft cheese & bagel seasoning, side of cucumber/tomatoes,

Snack - Crisps

Lunch - Stovies with beetroot (traditional in my part of Scotland)

Snack - Christmas choc (trying to get through this)

Teatime snack - Bowl of homemade lentil & veg soup, a couple of crackers

Dinner - I am going to a pub quiz so will have a wee something to eat from their bar bites menu!

Porridge, rhubarb
Slice of apple cake and cappuccino
Prawn sandwich and tea
Some reeces pieces
Pasta and sauce and large glass of wine

Yesterday

B - Soya milk porridge, mixed berries, dried apricots, walnuts and mixed seeds

L - Tofu, hummus, lettuce, tomato, peppers and cucumber wrap.

D - Bean chilli, avocado and rice

S - Dark chocolate Brazil nuts, Vegan sausage roll

B- missed it today as rushing

L- chilli chicken ramen, some bbq lentil chips

D- spinach and ricotta cannelloni and broccoli

Snack- big bowl of 5% Greek yoghurt with granola and chopped banana when I got in from work, a biscoff ice cream sandwich, M&S mini millionaires hot cross bun

A plate of fresh fruit.
Out for lunch: steak and ale pie with mash and mushy peas. Shared an apple crumble with custard.
Nothing since, just starting to feel hungry again now.

dark chocolate gingers, reversy Percies, proper lentil cheese crisps and an Orange as snacks

A salmon paste sandwich on seeded bread

A bowl of lentil and chickpea dhal
Two coffees and three ginger and turmeric teas

B the usual - cinnamon soya latte, oats with almond milk, prunes, mango, sprinkle of flaxseed/coconut/seeds/nuts and coconut soya yoghurt

L smashed avocado with red onion and tomato on sourdough with seeds on top

D vegetable gnocchi, vegetables and quorn sausages all in a tomato sauce. Sprinkle of dark chocolate with seeds/nuts in it on soya raspberry ice cream

S decaf teas and coffees with almond milk, vegan protein bar, 3 Percy pigs, satsuma, 2 breadsticks, 1 vegan chocolate, fruit and fibre with almond milk

And I’m still hungry despite all the snacking Confused might need another late night snack!

L: 1/2 carton vegetable soup and one slice of seeded bread
D: stir fry with falafel
S: 3 french butter biscuits, 2 slices of cantaloupe melon.

L: open ham sandwich with lentil crisps and two cold chipolata

D: homemade chicken stew

Sn: two breadsticks with hummus and two chocolate biscuits

B - Bircher muesli with apple and pumpkin seeds
L - Leftover spicy chicken from last night in a wrap with peppers, onions, mushrooms and avocado
D - Bit of a random mix of stuff that needed using - couple of slices of grilled halloumi, rest of the avocado from earlier, some mixed veg (baby corn, carrots, green beans), bit of smoked salmon. We had one huge but slightly sad looking baking potato left so made that into wedges so a few of those too.

B- none, even earlier start today for a blood test so I had no chance!

L- renourish roast chicken and vegetable soup and a wholemeal roll (love these soups for work lunches!)

D- 1/2 vegetable pizza from Morrisons pizza counter and a side salad

Snacks- a freshly baked mini eggs nyc cookie, some honeydew melon, a pear and two paw patrol yoghurts

L: chicken breast with salad and a few leftover potaos, an apple and an orange
D: garlic prawns with olives on sourdough toast, 2 glasses of white wine, some dark chocolate

Yesterday
B - greek yoghurt with biomel mixed in, strawberries and 100% nut butter
L - 2 slices home made granary bread, with cream cheese and smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and cucumber in the side. An apple.
D - prawn curry and rice, 1 poppadom

Later on because we were at a panto - hot chocolate and handful of DD’s haribo, couple of DH’s licorice allsorts
