... in a hammock tonight 😂

He can't decide whether to hang his stocking up next to his hammock or leave it in his room. He'd bloody better choose his room as Father Christmas doesn't fancy trekking down to the end of the garden to deliver gifts.

(He isn't alone, his dad is out there with him in his own hammock, the pair of mad bastards Xmas Grin )

Sounds like fun! As long as warm enough, as seasoned campers they will be I'm sure. Nothing like sleeping under the stars with cool air on your face. Xx

No way I would have let my kids sleep outside, especially with it being minus 3C, with a windchill minus 6C like it was last night. I don't care how much they are 'wrapped up..'
They weren't locked out he could have gone inside if it had stopped being fun.

Exactly! Imagine being so cotton wool with a 15 year old who could well be back packing around Thailand as an adult in three years in much hairier camping situations than this

My husband and 3 of my sons went wild camping on Dartmoor on Monday night. Actual lunatics.

Make the most of it. Sweet freedom. 😁
