Heard an interview with a Danish government person last week - on their military’s assessment the US is now down as a threat to them, over Greenland - which, as he said, is incredible when they’re supposed to be allies.
The geopolitical alliances are all changing - I did stuff like this in history at school but I guess I also have kept thinking all that is more or less organised and generally unchanging particularly in the west/east divide - maybe that personal ignorance is why I find all this so difficult- the US under trump is actually no one’s ally in the sense I understand it.

I would be careful about the word "armada" if I had a mind for history. After all, it's not famous because it worked.
