Don Snoreleone trying to stay awake long enough to bring all his racist dreams to fruition. So when can we bring about his personal "civilisational erasure”?

Is that Michael Crawford on the front right?
Oh Betty!

It is

Alongside Stalone, Gloria Gaynor and Gene Simmons. Think the others are from Kiss as well.

A lot of surgery in that lot

Yep.
I've never liked him, he gave me the creeps, and now I have a valid reason.

Yeah, Stallone is looking more like his mum by the day...

Lalgarh · 31/12/2025 14:20

God it is.

I didn't realise he was still around

placemats · 31/12/2025 14:23

Is it the hall of fame for those you thought had died but are still alive?

Happy New Year 🎊 everyone!

Pedallleur · 31/12/2025 15:05

3 X original Kiss members Paul Stanley/Gene Simmons/Peter Cross. Stallone, George Strait, Gloria Gaynor and Michael Crawford

SerendipityJane · 31/12/2025 16:13

Somehow it's no surprise that a sleaze like Gene Simmons is happy to be seen next to Trump.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 31/12/2025 16:35

Well, I've heard of Sylvester Stallone....

I have been told by someone who worked on a film of his that he was the most-loathed actor of all time, and when someone was injured on set the unanimous opinion among the various crews (sound, effects and so on) was that the wrong guy copped it.

(That's as opposed to Arnie, who apparently was a pleasure to work for/with. My friend is male, though; women might not have been quite so entirely keen on working with or for Arnie.)

Spandauer · 31/12/2025 16:51

Finishing up this less than ideal year with some heartfelt pictorial representations of how I feel. May 2026 bring everything he deserves.

I saw it on Sky this morning.

Awful, just awful.

I just hope that when a Democrat gets in (I say when, not 'if', too depressing to think otherwise).. they put back the WH to how it was. Paving over the Rose Garden like a MarLago swimming pool patio was bad enough. But the demolition of the East Wing is sacrilege, it had a lot of history, and as for the naff poundshop gold everywhere... strip it all back and start again.

I think the problem with a 'restoration project' would be the cost. Renaming and then taking down signs, plaques, and painting over lettering shouldn't be a problem and I'm sure will start to take place as soon as the Dems regain the majority. But the taxpayers aren't going to want to pay for major demo & reconstruct to the (tiny)ball(s)room and the supposed 'Trump Arc d' Triomphe' he's planning. Same with completely restoring the Rose Garden, which was destroyed during his 1st term IIRC. All that shit was (apparently) paid for by donors.

What I'd like is for them to rename anything that can't be 'removed'. 'The Biden Ballroom' has a nice ring to it. And if they can't stop the battleship debacle maybe it can be renamed. Obama class battleships anyone?

PS they probably wouldn't rename for a living person. So maybe call it the Franklin D Roosevelt Memorial Ballroom. How about a Ruth Bader Ginsburg class of battleships? She certainly was a 'power' to be feared in her day.

Will the British have to invade and burn it down ?

Again.

I could take Arnie Grin

I can bring some matches and kindling - maybe some dried leaves...if someone could provide the kerosene? @CaveMum

I could take Arnie Grin

Thing about Arnie: he used to be a sexist stinker, by every account I have heard, but when he was crossly accused about it in the end, he took a long hard look at his behaviour and really didn't like what he saw – so he apologised to the people he'd hurt, and changed the behaviour really quite a lot over a short space of time. I think he took an anti-harassment training course to make him aware of what he'd been doing wrong.... This, to me, makes him a lot less bad than he was before he "saw the light", realised how horrible he was being, and stopped. I don't suppose he managed it overnight, because people generally don't, but at least he tried, and seems eventually to have succeeded. And he seems to have been quite open about it all, too.

placemats · 31/12/2025 18:31

Ruth Ginsberg stayed on too long.

10 Downing Street is a Grade 1 listed building. Though private quarters can be adapted.

Edited

I was thinking more a game of Scrabble?😎

Glad to hear he's sort of seen the error of his testosterone.

DuncinToffee · 31/12/2025 21:51

Trump says he's removing the National Guard from Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland.

The move comes after the Supreme Court dealt a blow to Trump's authority to send troops to Chicago.
