I am sure Farage will welcome this. And a few social media posters. Ahem.

The patriotic shouts at hotels, paints roundabouts, shaggs flags kind....

So Yaxley Lennon wouldn’t support the army against Russian aggression? Am I understanding that correctly?

DuncinToffee · 16/12/2025 13:56

I welcome this but don’t we already know that the ‘fire guards” in place regarding certain currencies are useless?

Won’t fight for Sky news was my first impression 🙈
Well doubt he’d be missed by any military but equally doubt Putin would particularly like him in one of his territories as much as tiny Tom may think 🤔
But they never make sense these guys - church thing baffles me, Seig heiling and talking of ww2 baffles me, now this - I only assume they never went to school and misunderstood every tv programme/film they ever saw and every book they ever read 🤷🏼‍♀️

What on earth is his thought process here? This is the actual armed forces who fight under the flag he keeps waving, yes? I’m bemused.

Being ex-forces I am quite happy in the knowledge that Tommy Twat-Face couldn't even fight his way out of a paper bag.

Piggywaspushed · 16/12/2025 16:26

He is very into boxing... self defence you understand.

Well said young man - with reference to Josh Widdicombe. thanks for posting.
I would be crying with laughter at the comment re Truss, " no lesser authority" @DuncinToffee if it wasn't all so truly awful and her getting that pension for ruining so many younger peoples mortgages , hopes of getting a mortgage etc etc etc.
A really terrible PM but there have been so many awful Tory ones recently.
IMO.

Really refreshing Yy Truss made my dd & Son-inLaws life very difficult with the increases in mortgage rates, am grateful that we were in the position to be able to alleviate some of it.
Very confused about tiny tommymeh I thought he was such patriot spends a lot of time shouting at hotels/flag shagging/wrapped in the Union Jack.

Somewhere in the rabbit hole of Christian nationalism I feel down at the weekend was a quote about patriots serve their country and nationalists think their country is superior whatever it has done. That screenshot with Tommy with a flag and a flag in his handle perfectly sums up which side of the fence Tommy is

Incidentally it would seem UTK called it a protest on Saturday. Which may or may not have anything to do with the Met coving the costs of policing protests but not concerts where they recoup it from the organisers. There’s always a grift.

The next test is how soon the provisions will be put into place.

PandoraSocks · 16/12/2025 20:36

Almost time for a new thread. Perhaps we could have a Christmassy title, maybe in Dutch?

Can I shout from the rooftops about the EU solidarity corp that was part of Erasmus - hopefully open again to all UK 18-30 years olds.

its a fantastic opportunity.

DS spent a year out with it, travel, food & board paid for in exchange for volunteering time. DS spent time clearing trees in Finland to dry stone wall building on a Croatian Island to restoring scout campsites on a beach in Greece. He made a huge number of friends & loved the experience.

Great news. That and rejoining the Erasmus scheme. Braverman was on that scheme.
