I think this is a very good suggestion from Ed Davey

And offering it to a wider range as a free jab. I paid for mine, and you could ask people to do so if they can, but a free jab would convince more.

itsgettingweird · 12/12/2025 20:53

Yes if we want to show we’ve learned anything from Covid it’s that vaccinations have a key part to play.

I get a free one through being ds carer but could also get it free through work.

But I’d pay for it if I didn’t - it’s no more than a few coffees.

Well, well, well.

Well, well, well.

That's interesting - even tho' there has been some pretty awful weather in the last 4 weeks it's not been bad every day - so something else going on?

.

It is now an outdoor event. It is going to be a bit chilly but not freezing, more's the pity.

The state of this. Is he wearing that Burberry on purpose to look vaguely like a dog collar or something?

There's a distinct lack of Christianity about this. Obviously there's no link between Reform and many names Tammy.

It’s baffling Tiny Tom thinks he can advocate following Christ. I think a lot of church officials feel similarly. Tenconi’s crew carried crosses on their ‘tour’ as well. The only bonus I can think is that they’re tainting this all so much Frogface may be reluctant to promote any religious ties for fear of association- he has been interested and in touch with the US brand that are rather extreme pro life I believe. I’ve been a bit concerned about the ‘Christian’ element that drives some US politics arriving here.
I think that Farage likely has similar views to Tiny in private but also, in private, he will look down his nose at him in disgust as he’s another pleb and possibly even further down the food chain than other plebs he pretends to champion but secretly despises, if he distinguishes between us all - he’s not going to put it like this though.
Publicly he’s also aware Tiny really is a step too far if you want to be in a position of public power. I guess he’s got to balance how to distance himself without losing too many Reform voters who’d quite like a Tiny Tom vision of the U.K.
Perhaps they’ll end up eating each other with a bit of luck.

That sums it up nicely.

I am an atheist, but if I were a Christian I would be raging about the stunted racist co-opting Christ into his hate.

It is not for atheists to defend any religion. If Christians, Muslims, or even Jedis do not accept what is done in their name then it's up to them to act. (As indeed their religions advise them to).

Churches could arrange a "hug a hater" day ?

I am waiting for the discovery of the lost gospel of Don-al, where it's revealed that Jesus was really on the Romans side, and expelled the rabbis from the temple so the moneylenders could move in.

Notonthestairs · 13/12/2025 10:16

Pochin opting for the Gerri Halliwell dress code (shows up well on camera).
Wonder how many of the congregation indulged in a bit of Nazi inspired racist bantz in their youth.

I’m sure someone is working on that as we speak.
The following article is an interesting take on AI and the Catholic faith.

I admit to scepticism that every single primary source document would be permitted to be seen via this project but it intrigued me to think of distilled Faith being dripped into the cesspit that is AI.

"The very real prospect of Christmas being cancelled by the woke liberati"

Anyone falling for this needs some help.

SerendipityJane · 13/12/2025 10:33

The news is rather muted that this was a war memorial before it was a Christmas Tree (much like the derided Trafalgar Square one).

To the left of the image the felled tree is on its side. Houses and a police van can be seen in the background.

I wonder if the increase of female clergy has a lot to do with it.
