Yeah, from what I remember we spent 2019-2022 deciding that lying wasn’t an issue, all politicians do it and that the Ministerial Code was just decorative.

Johnson broke the ministerial code dozens of times and then redrafted it to remove sanctions. But all the time he retained vast amounts of goodwill from the BBC/Telegraph/Times etc and from the same posters who are now furiously typing about Reeves.

The Telegraph is especially ridiculous. Every day it starts screaming about a different scapegoat. I should unsubscribe to the email updates, but it is quite amusing. Can it, and the posters who regurgitate everything, keep up this level of hyperbole for the next three and a half years?
