I want to point out that even if your hamster was born in England, it is not an English hamster. Culturally it has come from the desert, and is biologically programmed to stuff its cheeks with food, and critically because hamsters cannot work, they receive free accommodation and benefits. And so hamsters will never really understand our society and should leave. Currently there are an enormous number of them simply idling in pet shops.

🤣

PandoraSocks · 19/11/2025 18:23

Hamsters are entitled free wheels. Our taxes will rise on Nov 26 to pay for this, thanks to Reeves and the rest of the hammunists running the country.😡

A Belted Galloway bull. Very placid, not usually keen on cows because they are arsey dangers to ramblers. Never met a BG that wasn’t lovely, though.

Hope the little feckers benefits are pulled & should be housed in tents not taking up space in pet shops that should be for patriotic pets.

PickAChew · 19/11/2025 18:49

We should put them in cages. That will put them off.

And where will these cages come from? Will are British rodents* *🇬🇧 be last in the queue for them, as usual?

PandoraSocks · 19/11/2025 18:54

Starts preparing placards & shouting at pet shops tis the only way to keep our British born animals safe from marauding hamsters.

BestIsWest · 19/11/2025 19:22

That is absolutely beautiful @BIWI. What a lovely thing to have.

No hamster tax I'm afraid - but a very sweet mouse (that I rescued from one of the cats) claiming asylum behind a walnut.

That is so lovely, @BIWI

No cat tax.

My clothes dried on the line, with a 10 minute whizz in the tumble dryer, the trip to the recycling centre made and had a lovely chat with a friend I met today whilst shopping after.

Was listening to Carnival of Animals Radio 4 today which has a segment on mice with an opening that's quite horrendous.

Cute picture.

Howtoaccept · 19/11/2025 20:50

Evening all, tax evader here

Deafnotdumb · 19/11/2025 21:07

Blanket tax. My cats are hibernating around the house and I'm comfort-crocheting my way through the cold snap.

Love all the pictures.
