I agree with so many on here. Particularly George Michael, Princess Di, Michael Jackson, Peaches Geldof, Amy Winehouse, Robin Williams, Steve Irwin, Whitney Houston (and her daughter Bobbi,) Michael Moseley, Naya Rivera, Queen Elizabeth II, and Liam Payne (Liam stung bad as the younger members in my extended family knew him, as they went to school with him.)

The younger someone dies the worse it is IMO.

I sometimes think about Jade Goody and what a strange phenomenon she was. Hugely famous from Big Brother in 2002, massively public life and then death in 2009. A seven year whirlwind of fame. Here and then gone.

Such a brilliant twist on more conventional ‘matriarch’ characters. Sexy as hell, conniving, devious, heroic. Was so sad when she died suddenly.

I agree about Sinèad. I felt like she was teetering on the brink for such a long time but somehow managed to not die, but then it did finally happen. I think this context made it particularly poignant.

The death of Chadwick Boseman really upset me. He was so talented and died far too young.

Kirsty McColl also died trying to save her son. Tim Brooke Taylor when there wasn't a jab for Covid. I cried about him for a few days.

George Michael. He brought so much joy to the world. I could listen to his voice forever. Such a kind & generous man.

Prince/ Robin Williams/ Helen McCrory as well as their talent they all seemed vibrant characters with such charisma.

Mel Appleby from Mel & Kim. Not a huge celebrity but one of my favourite pop stars in my late teens and I was a similar age to her when she died. I was so shocked - in your early 20s you just don't think about dying. I think about her sometimes and especially when I hear one of their songs on the radio. So sad.
