Am wondering what the Little Treats actually involve?

I did, I worked part time on tills for four years between redundancy and state pension age a few years ago. During lockdown, the disastrous female CEO, redesign of business dress, but I did get two bonuses, and a free turkey crown each Christmas! Not long enough to keep partner discount when retired, unfortunately.

Edited

You jammy thing with your turkey crown!
I loved the partnershop in the back at waitrose, many a bargain I found there.

They have a big promotional stand for the Bonne Maman preserves at the moment too, with a tempting pretty little box of miniatures (which I must resist as I have only just used up all the ones from the advent calendar).

Whyherewego · 03/02/2026 16:22

I have .. some biscuits and some chocs.

pinkperm · 04/02/2026 14:29

I actually quite like it, I don’t think the scheme is as bad as some (for example, Sparks). In fact I think it’s better than most.

I get offers every 2 weeks for things I buy regularly and the new ‘treats’ are a nice surprise although I’ll never reach the £250 mark. I claim the free coffee most days as I’m within walking distance of a shop.

LilyFeather · 04/02/2026 23:43

I have free crumpets and a free Belvoir presse bottle so far

Pericombobulations · 05/02/2026 00:21

I had to do a complaint today as we ordered the cereal for todays delivery but got an out of stock, with no substitution and I lost my voucher too so cant try and use it next week either. That and the normal vouchers are often out of stock for us so cant use them either.

SnowFrogJelly · 05/02/2026 01:10

Yes I got money off and posh jam

Oh that's annoying, they had loads of the cereal in our store in about 10 varieties this week , but I do sometimes find my other vouchers are sold out. I've never tried delivery.

Me too for February for spending over £100.

LamentableShoes · 06/02/2026 13:06

I went to get the crumpets and there were none of those... I picked up a normal Waitrose pack for the same price assuming they would count as the free ones (this worked at christmas with mince pies) but they didn't! Clearly they are going to be popular if they're free so they should stock up more, and you should get the whole month to claim them.

applegingermint · 06/02/2026 13:56

We also got the heart crumpets & the Belvoir presse (chose the mojito version) in our online order today. The heart crumpets are huge, easily 2 crumpets worth in one heart.

pinkperm · 07/02/2026 19:26

The Belvoir doesn’t interest me so I’ll shop elsewhere after hitting the £50 treat this month. I wonder what the £250 treat is (though I’ll probably never hit that mark)

MsAdoraBelleDearheartVonLipwig · 07/02/2026 19:44

I had a money off voucher which vanished from my account. It was there in the morning, when I went to pay in the supermarket it had gone.

LamentableShoes · 07/02/2026 21:58

The Belvoir lime and yuzu mojito is really nice so I'll look out for that one

MrsJamin · 07/02/2026 22:11

I got Dorset cereals muesli and orange juice today, very nice to have something for free!

When Little Treats first started we should have had two as we'd spent over £100. They didn't appear in my account, only one right at the end of the month by which time we'd spent the £250. I eventually found the two missing ones in an email. I hadn't read it as Waitrose send me quite a few marketing emails and I thought it was just another one of those. By that time the two vouchers had expired so we lost out. You were only allowed quite a short time to use them. I still feel miffed!

JacknDiane · 08/02/2026 20:17

I got love heart crumpets today

Today I got Tony’s chocolonelys pack of 12 little chocolate eggs. Worth £5. They’re very nice

and that concludes my treats for this month and further cements that I spend too much in Waitrose 🤣

reluctantbrit · 10/02/2026 18:17

The crumpets are out in our local one, not too bothered about it, we would have used them but it's not a big thing for us.
The lemonade is lovely.

Not sure if I want some chocolate eggs already in February. Hm. But useful with a chocoholic teen coming home from uni in April.

Was this for spending £250? Would you buy them again ? Won't reach 250 before next weekend but might buy them as mini eggs have gone a bit yuck.

fussychica · 21/02/2026 15:01

A jar of preserve, a litre of fresh orange juice, some crappy Valentines crumpets, and a bottle of Belvoir sparkling presse.
These have been since they started it before Xmas. Not made it to the highest level as I'd never spend £250 in there in a month.

Solitario · 21/02/2026 15:21

We were sent a substitution for one of the treats. As we didn't think we'd like the sub I handed it back to the delivery driver and we were refunded the value of the treat voucher to our debit/credit card.

TeaAndStrumpets · 21/02/2026 16:03

Yes we got caught out with the granola one. I chose one at random and didn't allow substitution (I never do) then that flavour was out of stock so I got nothing. Now I am careful to allow substitution. I give the little treats away to DD and her family anyway.
