Am wondering what the Little Treats actually involve?

£250 treat is a bunch of carnations, worth £5. Not my what I really hoped for, I had hoped for some Halloween chocolates.

Not sure if I will rush to plan DH's shopping now, we both have individual cards and normally get at least both the £50 and £100 treat each month.

There was some moaning on here that there were too many sweet treats & nothing they would eat so now they have something that's non-food. There's also been tote bags & money off.
Guess you can't win every time.

No I don't expect anything great every time. But they did themed rewards for Valentine, Mother's Day (ok, that was flowers :-) ), Easter and Christmas.

So I was a bit disappointed to have no chocolate this month.

Anyone know what the treats are for October?

Perhaps as some people (devout Christians) object to Halloween and they're worried about causing offence maybe? I agree I would rather have chocolates than carnations which are mildly toxic to cats and can't be donated to the food bank like some of the treats that weren't suitable for me so will be going in the bin.

I just won't be adding them to my cart. No need to throw them away.

That's true, good point.

Think our local food bank will be getting rather a large donation of the crackers this month. When I put mine in there appeared to be at least six boxes already in there.

We took the free from cookies instead.

EnchantingDecoration · 18/10/2026 19:13

We had the crackers, they were ok but won't buy again. Might get the carnations and give them to my neighbour who is more or less housebound. She has given us unwanted freebies in the past.

PickAChew · 18/10/2026 22:38

I took the cookies, too. No good for me as I can't eat the chocolate but DS1 woukd eat a washing up sponge if you poured enough chocolate into it, so no need to donate them!
