I see 30p Lee has popped up with another bright idea to bring back the three wheeler car as a disability carHmm

The Invacar was banned from English roads in 2003 over safety fears after some overturned and others caught fire.

I wonder if Charles knows more about Andrew's involvement than what is currently in the public domain?

Edited

I imagine there might be more in the Epstein files but I’d be surprised if the King has access to it. I think family pressure is probably behind this, William understandably wants it dealt with before he succeeds.

The media know a lot more as well. MPs can use Parliamentary privilege to say what they know.

Where/when did he say that, Duncin?

That idea will appeal to a few Mumsnetters.

Evenstar · 31/10/2025 09:58

I think it was in the last couple of days @PandoraSocks, I saw this yesterday from someone who collects old cars.

Brilliant idea. Make them accept unsafe cars so that they'll die in car crashes and save the state money. And there won't be any lawsuits at all.

Does that man even have a single brain cell?

PandoraSocks · 31/10/2025 10:06

Well that would be no good for my DH as he can't get in and out of the car alone for a start.

Lee Anderson is a despicable human being.

I am not looking forward to the budget fallout. I think there will be a lot of poison directed towards disabled people. It is already ramping up here on MN with the disability benefit bashing threads.

That's unfair. He does have a brain cell. Although it is lodged in his anus.

‘The crash protection of a wet paper bag’

It certainly seems like Reform want to punish disabled people.
Performative nonsense.

I have heard that it's William driving it. He doesn't want a repeat of this shit show when he accedes.

This is what he said:

"Having grossly mislead the British public over the supposed benefits of Brexit which have turned out to be entirely false, Mr Farage is now turning his hand to trying to remove the U.K. from the ECHR with rather similar statements that
doing so will solve immigration issues. His speech was as shallow and incoherent as it was ill informed. It neglected to mention the benefits of membership or the economic and security costs of leaving. He trumpeted the benefits of the common law and Magna Carta, ignoring the fact that the Magna Carta was needed because the Common Law was deficient in curbing tyranny.

The ECHR has been rightly described as the Magna Carta of the 20th century. It protects our liberties. But as he is such an admirer of President Trump who is busy destroying the liberties of Americans and behaving tyrannically against his opponents we should not perhaps be surprised at his actions."

Dominic Grieve, Co-President, European Movement UK
and former Attorney General

dontcallmelen · 31/10/2025 11:38

Well said Dominic Grieve 👏

Notonthestairs · 31/10/2025 11:57

I’m fascinated to know where Fox gets the money to defend and counterclaim.

He doesn’t seem to have worked in years so who is stumping up the 💰?

Evenstar · 31/10/2025 12:01

@Notonthestairs I have wondered that too, he’s so toxic now that I can’t imagine him being offered any acting roles ever again. I think some “interesting” funding might come to light if it was investigated.

There is someone funding him, but I can't remember the name.

eta: Jeremy Hosking has donated massive amounts to Fox's "political party".

Notonthestairs · 31/10/2025 12:09

Looks like it’s Jeremy Hosking
He also funded Andrew Bridgen to the tune of £4 million.
And Farage.
Pro no deal Brexit. Anti Net Zero. Nothing to do with any investments in fossil fuels I’m sure.

Notonthestairs · 31/10/2025 12:10

X post!

Zonder · 31/10/2025 12:12

I'm sure this must have been talked about but I haven't been on the usual threads much. If what Andrew did is bad enough to lose titles, home etc (and I'm sure it was bad enough) how come it's not bad enough for prosecution? Why aren't the police arresting him?

Notonthestairs · 31/10/2025 12:14

Looks like Hosking has also entertained Yaxley Lennon.
He certainly has a ‘type’.
