Pull up a chair for some friendly chit chat about politics, cats, dogs and much more

Taxes optional but greatly appreciated.

The Reformites are still hoping for Reeves to go.

Some of them have put bets on Reeves' sacking since she was appointed

If anyone wants to see Matt Goodwin handed his arse on a plate Question Time is worth a watch! Lisa Nandy did a sterling job! Quite heartening!

Supplysupport · 30/10/2025 23:03

Watching it now. If it's not got reform on every other weekend, it has their mouthpiece Gbeebies. Another shit excuse of a man shouting down the uppity women, while saying how much he needs to protect them. He's coming across badly and the audience don't like him (apart from a few).

He's trying to browbeat them into submission.

Oh yes the usual obsessives are still obsessing big time

But Mr Reform UK himself has been noticeably quiet - unlike Ms BadEnough of course

All the front pages are dominated by the Andrew news especially but not exclusively the tabloids

Notonthestairs · 31/10/2025 07:30

I doubt Farage wants to stir the housing pot given his partner’s sudden helpful for tax purposes windfall.

Exactly Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 31/10/2025 08:06

I don't know if it's just me, but I'd have been happier if the government had stripped Andrew of his titles rather than Charles doing it.
Can't help feeling that would have been a more pointed statement to the country (and to the Royal Family) than just relying on the Royals to manage their own shit.

countrygirl99 · 31/10/2025 08:09

The big question is whether there will be vigilante riots in North Norfolk now that the alleged sex offender son of a migrant is being moved there.

Notonthestairs · 31/10/2025 08:24

Bromsgrove South (Worcestershire) Council By-Election Result:

🔶 LDM: 51.9% (+20.3)
➡️ RFM: 33.4% (-1.5)
🌳 CON: 11.3% (-5.8)
🌹 LAB: 3.4% (-4.1)

No GRN (-5.5) or Ind (-3.4) as previous.

Liberal Democrat GAIN from Reform.
Changes w/ 2025.

Double standards so big you can see them from outer space.

The King had to do it. It'll be debated in both chambers of Parliament.

I hope it's just the beginning and other Epstein file names will be next.

I’m somewhat surprised that he can have his Prince title removed, he’s the son of a monarch and I thought that was immutable. To me this is all beginning to look a bit performative and spiteful. The numerous other men involved in Epstein’s disgusting enterprise appear to be evading any kind of consequences while Andrew is the fall guy.

PickAChew · 31/10/2025 09:00

He's just one that we, as a country, can do something about. Mandelson lost his job over it.

PandoraSocks · 31/10/2025 09:03

This is an interesting council by-election result. Look at the size of the vote for the Lib Dems. Farage will not be pleased.

On Newsnight last night, Virginia's brother talked about an ex Prime Minister whose name is easy to search for - choked and raped - the incident is mentioned in the book but no name is given.

ETA - it's not a British prime minister.

PandoraSocks · 31/10/2025 09:08

Farage might be pleased about a couple of these though.

I agree that he’s the only one we can do anything about and I’m absolutely not defending him. Mandelson should never have got that appointment in the first place.

I wonder if Charles knows more about Andrew's involvement than what is currently in the public domain?
