Taxes optional but greatly appreciated.

Several strategically placed Yorkshire Puddings. Could start a patriotic trend

PickAChew · 03/11/2025 23:49

I hoped for a good example but did get this comment from Google AI. It's such a fucking numpty 🙄

A "Yorkshire pudding bra" is not a real or standard item. The term seems to be a playful or a hypothetical concept, possibly linked to jokes or novelty ideas rather than a functional product

PickAChew · 03/11/2025 23:51

Not quite there.

@derxa and @Rexinasaurus

You should be watching Newsnight. It's a shit show for Reform UK. 😂

I enjoyed that 😂

Discuss, engage is fine

Come on to monitor, keep us on our toes, civil service is not.

Thank you @DuncinToffee

I am keen to ‘discuss, engage’.

Just so I don’t risk going off-piste, as it were - the thread title is ‘Starmer…’ but does that include the entire government, or just the PM.

Thanks

PandoraSocks · 04/11/2025 06:25

Ha. As we predicted @DuncinToffee

I am off to the gym. Pondering what to have for breakfast when I get back. What are you all having?

IYKYK 🙂

Saucery · 04/11/2025 06:32

Fridge oats for me. Nice and quick for leaving for work at 7.20. Not looking forward to this driving before sunrise malarkey now! Must get out in lunch hour and have a walk, get some (rainy) sunshine.

Nolletimiere · 04/11/2025 06:35

Porridge with honey, pecans and cinnamon.

And coffee, black.

Bluefacedsheep · 04/11/2025 06:59

Toast and Marmite

InMySpareTime · 04/11/2025 07:02

Bagel and peanut butter

placemats · 04/11/2025 07:06

Toast with butter and apricot jam plus two cups of tea.

BestIsWest · 04/11/2025 07:10

Oatibix with milk. Cup of Earl Grey then a coffee.

pointythings · 04/11/2025 07:17

Coffee. Breakfast is for weekends.

Rexinasaurus · 04/11/2025 07:19

No breakfast here. Just a milky frothy coffee. Then another one.

itsgettingweird · 04/11/2025 07:57

I’ve walked 6k and 8k steps already.

Not long home from ds swim training and off to work in 10 minutes.

I had an Aldi protein shake at 6am for breakfast after my walk!

Probably have a banana mid morning and another shake for lunch and a quick walk.

Also have a flask of coffee - a Aldi own caramel latte one. My only caffeinated coffee of the day so savour it 🤣

Supplysupport · 04/11/2025 08:22

Crumpet and coffee.

PickAChew · 04/11/2025 08:50

Joy freee bran flakes (probably won't buy them again) plus grain free granola, topped with coconut "yog" all washed down with a bucket of milky coffee.

PandoraSocks · 04/11/2025 09:10

Just listened to Reeves. The biggest mistake Labour made was promising not to raise income tax in their manifesto. Now they are going to have to row back and all hell is of course breaking loose.

And if weasley Farage gets in, he has already prepped the ground for not reversing any Labour tax rises.

Yusuf is a smirky little git isn't he? His lips were twitching away during that Newsnight interview. Was he nervous or trying not to laugh? Either way, it is all a game to him.

Edited

Yes, the shame is, had they said "We will not increase for 2 years" they'd have still have won the GE.

Similar what Blair did, promised to stick to Tory spending plans for 2 years... he still got in on a landslide.

I'm convinced Farage will not get in, he has nothing to offer his small pool of supporters - less than 30% of electorate.

DuncinToffee · 04/11/2025 09:14

Reeves should do this

As anti-Labour media will always put words in her mouth, why not beat them to it:

"Yes it's true, Daily Mail readers, we are coming for you and your money because a) everyone else had to pay under the Tories b) Brexit screwed the poor c) you voted for both. Cheers, Rachel."

I haven’t even thought about food yet. I do a 16 hour fast so I won’t be eating for about three hours.

DuncinToffee · 04/11/2025 09:21

Hearing the Ryan Air owner whinge about wealth tax Hmm

Do you do it every day? I do it some days, but just because I often don't fancy eating until lunchtime.
