Exactly Duncin.

Btw @Rexinasaurus I didn't say there was a "thread where everyone supports reform". Those were your words not mine.

Alexandra2001 · 03/11/2025 19:44

We keep off the Labour isn't working thread... maybe try keeping off this one.

NC doesn't cut it.

I don't mind the odd visitor. I think we should be polite if they are posting to genuinely comment.

DuncinToffee · 03/11/2025 20:20

Discuss, engage is fine

Come on to monitor, keep us on our toes, civil service is not.

There is no Labour fans thread either, that doesn't stop people talking about it as if there is

We might have different reasons for wanting to see the boat crossings stopped but any life saved is worth something, don't you agree?

Not sure why you’re talking about life or death, really. However no one wants people to die crossing the channel.

I think so too. And also on the other (my favourite) thread, not the reform thread, that is still awol. I think we might be in the minority. Different minorities but still.

Are you sure about that? You must have read at least some of the anti asylum seekers threads on here to know that is not always the case.

What in the name of Granny Smiths are you talking about?

Ok. No one worth talking about / to, wants that. I do try to mentally block those sorts of people. They are not worth wasting my (very limited) brain space.

ilovesooty · 03/11/2025 20:37

Oh good. I've found you again.

You need to go back and read my post, Rex. I said nothing about a Reform thread.

Plus did you not guess that my post was not exactly serious?

The Huntingdon stabbings really brought them out of their swamps. It was pretty awful. Although I think some of them were pbp, sneaking back in. I know MNHQ zapped a few.

Unfortunately, they normally think they are being clever by being deliberately disingenuous.

Karistyleaftea · 03/11/2025 21:20

@PickAChew Maybe Newcastle Uni is thought of as "posh" because Princess Eugenie went there? It is Russell group and is ranked
30th in the Times/Sunday times 2025.
Northumbria interestingly is now 43rd overall in that same list and has been highly ranked by other publications.

Piggywaspushed · 03/11/2025 21:44

It's been posh a while. It's all about train lines'up' from London. See also: Durham and Edinburgh. The proportion of private school educated students at Newcastle is high.

But if there was such a thread, it should be called Springtime for Nigel. Such is the high camp if Reform, all I can think when he appears is of the Producers.

@derxa and @Rexinasaurus

You should be watching Newsnight. It's a shit show for Reform UK. 😂

Nathan Gill @derxa and @Rexinasaurus 🤣🤣

I will never be able to watch another of Farage's pompous press conferences without having this in my head. Thank you.

I was looking at the Refirm conferences this year and suddenly it just popped into my brain, don’t be stupid be a smartie come and join Nigel’s Party.

I look forward to next year when Sarah Pochin wears a Yorkshire Pudding on her head.

Hopefully she'll wear more than that 😅
