Things I don’t do…that apparently everyone else DOES do…

Tonight I put some Nivea on my face but apart from taking my makeup off each day, I don’t have a skin care routine and I don’t use moisturiser that often.

Other things I don’t do…I don’t make the bed every day (might straighten it, but that’s it), I don’t keep takeaway boxes (does anyone?) and I don’t send Christmas cards (never miss a birthday though).

What things do you not do…that most other people seem to do? This is a ‘no judgement’ thread. 😆

I'm the same ..I got to 52 never moisturising my face and neck .
But I'm paying for it now ,as I've got wrinkles from a large weight loss .
Have bought some cream ..but yet to open it ..

Me too! Also, because of not shopping in person, I have never used a self-service checkout.

Drink coffee, watched Strictly, driven, been to Centre Parks.

I was never great at cleaning my teeth..the minty taste makes me feel sick and the sensation of foamy toothpaste make me gag .
Never knew why I was like this ..then got a diagnosis of autism and was like ..oh that's why ...so now I force myself night and day to scrub and floss .

I don't get my nails done.
I don't watch films in the dark.
I don't use fabric conditioner.
I don't put butter or margarine on sandwiches.

I don't use my phone for anything but phone calls, What's App and 3rd factor ID for my credit card.

I also don't drive. I let my license lapse.

Don't wear makeup
Don't use WhatsApp
Don't use Facebook, TikTok, etc.
Don't iron

I don't have any social media accounts at all.
I do do most of the things listed by pp though: skin care , make the bed , podcasts etc

You have to wear make up to have sex? I've been doing it wrong !

Plastic Chinese/Indian ones that are useful as re-useable food storage boxes. Got a couple in the cupboard now, saves buying them.

Do you have to be in disguise to have sex? Do you wear makeup all over or is there a disconnect at the neck where the natural skin starts?

I had a bad experience of once freezing some curry in one of the boxes and when I later defrosted, the curry had little shards of plastic in it (box must have cracked in the freezer). Might have just been that particular container but I only use ‘freezer safe’ tubs now.

I’m sure she means the plastic tubs with lids from the Chinese/Indian takeaway that most of us think “ooh I’ll wash that, that’ll be handy” 🙄

Is this someone having a bit of fun? If so, not super funny. I'm old now but barely ever wore makeup but still had way too many offers than I could handle. Are you including every male that has worn eyeliner. I think anyone would have slept with Michael Hutchence and he loved his eyeliner. I'm not getting what you mean about being in the same room.

That attitude is all kinds of fucked up! How does being interested in the opposite sex equate with being plastered in make up?

Been married for 30 years. DH is not a fan of the plastered in slap look, which I guess makes us a good fit. He can't be the only man who prefers natural looking women though surely?

I think women often make rods to beat themselves with - thinking they need to be made up, dressed alluringly, every last hair removed from their bodies etc etc to be attractive to men, when in fact I think this is not what all men actually want or like.

Forgot to add yes they have all been in the same room as me, ( bit awkards otherwise) yegads even the same bed, I think you are taking the piss.

I've just checked the cupboard and we have 23 plastic takeaway tubs in there... we did go through a phase of getting quite a few takeaways but some of these must be over 3 years old! And have been frozen and microwaved 100s of times 😯
