A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

@EmpressoftheMundane I agree , and on paper my childhood was privileged but we had frost on the inside of single glazed metal windows, going to bed with wooly hats ,very poor heating etc.
My mum knitted the hatsn, jumpers and mittens

I don't really care what someone's background is this obsession with people having been born with a silver spoon.
They may have broad life experience that can help .
Empathy and compassion.
There was an excellent post somewhere that said labour is always making things worse for those at the bottom .

Are they actually discussing Starmer for once?? 😱😱🤣

🤣🤣

Judging by Farage's almost immediate response, I think the bear has been poked, and the gloves are off.

Yeh they've played into his hands, as always 🙄

Labour conveniently dropping the 50% Uni goal as that’s been unachievable and in decline for a while.
Clearly they don’t want that failure to be thrown at them

EasternStandard · 30/09/2025 16:45

TheNuthatch · 30/09/2025 16:36

Yep. Starmer is the most unpopular PM we have EVER had fgs. Quite an achievement.
It was stupid to go after Farage like that in the current climate, but hey, it's their funeral 🤷‍♂️

I think there’s people who think he’s doing well, you see it on here they say it’s well managed or well said and then their polling tanks again. Basically the opposite.

How many millions does that 30 to 34% polling represent? That’s a lot of people to insult. It’s hardly going to get them back.

Plantatreetoday · 30/09/2025 16:45

I was expecting at least a hint of something on the budget as I’m stressing about that
No real clues though

Anyone who thinks the most unpopular PM ever is in any way, 'doing well' is quite clearly utterly deluded and not worth debating.

Starmer may get the left hyperventilating when he shouts 'racist' at a conference of his peers, but it sure as hell won't help him win.

They don't want to talk about the economy. Particularly the black hole they've created.

I mean he spent some of that time pleading - in a roundabout way talking about a labour of yesteryear - with the supporters to stop labelling everyone as racists - that it's patronising and it's hurting the cause. It will fall on deaf ears though because tarring anyone with concerns around immigration as racist and slinging shit at them for sport has become the new moral reflex and distraction technique to hide the ineptitude of this government.

There will be lots of little kittens called Rodney queuing by the litter trays.

Of course they don't. They have annihilated the economy so they don't want any attention drawing to it

LieborCookin · 30/09/2025 17:15

I've just seen a clip of starmers speech it's so hollow reeling off a list of failures.

And yet mad cheering going on ??
We are in a state of Doom and bloody gloom ??
Who is better off except the migrants

Like a previous poster one just wants to scream argggghhhh you thick bastards.
If there are any more cock ups the gloves will be off

Rivalled · 30/09/2025 17:17

I had to laugh at them wanting the right kind of growth - what’s that, anything other than the usual kind spurred by private sector businesses.

hardly the stuff of dreams was it?

Upstartled · 30/09/2025 17:17

How are the migrants better off? <Prays for tax breaks>

LieborCookin · 30/09/2025 17:19

No better off with the hotels etc

And in the East (and in the east), the dawn was breaking (ah-ah-ah)
And the world was waking (ah-ah)
Any growth will do

Yes I agree. Its their MO isn't it. That, and blaming the media.

Differentiating between Farage and those who may vote for him is a fool's game anyway. Starmer certainly doesn't have the skill to pull it off.
Look at Hilary Clinton with her 'basket of deplorables'.

Just watching Lammy being interviewed, amongst other things he asserted was, "Rachel's doing a fine job for the economy." 🙄

I think Kemi will draw attention to it next week. Over, and over, and over again 😁

Surely this is some sort of conflict of interest and shouldn’t be allowed. I know someone else mentioned this on the previous thread. Yet more vomit from Labour.

Multiverse....the Company chosen to produce the UK's Digital ID app..... was founded by... Euan Blair...... Yup.... the SON of former Labour PM: TONY BLAIR

I don't know how anyone can say this with a straight face at this point. Don't they read the papers?

It stinks, but I can't find anything official on that yet?
I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's true. Like father, like son.
