Oh I’d love to if you’re in Leicester. Just moved in with 3 girls in a house and contemplating my final year at uni.

(They decided to club together for the cooking, but had such a strong Spam based menu that I had to announce that I was turning vegetarian 🤣)

I’ll probably be down at the SU later chugging down half pints of white wine and watching The Waterboys live on stage.

Sorry but I'm frightfully grown up now. My HUSBAND <giggle, blush> and I have only been married for a few months, and we're the first ones in our friendship group to have our own house. A mortgage and everything, age 19 🏆.

So if you youngsters want to come back to our house later, we can sit in our living room and have a cup of tea from our new BHS dinner service that my big brother gave us for a wedding present. You can also admire our lovely wallpaper - it's white with red and black jagged lines across it.

I had the same wallpaper in my bedroom !

I can't today - I'm packing for my first term at uni. Re the storm I can remember going to lectures and seeing a lot of trees down but not realising what had happened.

I loved those perfume bottles in the Body Shop. Also going into Thornton's and buying one truffle.

My friend Caroline loved ours so much that she bought the same for her bedroom. She went one step further though - 3 walls done in the white with red and black, and the 4th wall was the black background version of that paper, so it was black with red and white details 🙈. Wow, I'm surprised we weren't all walking around with permanent migraines!

It was a good day when you got to the last pic - 24 -only to find that there was still one extra left, or 2 if you were really lucky! And who else used to get so excited about getting certain films developed as soon a possible but you still had a couple of shots left but you weren’t patient enough so you ended up just taking random pics of your dog, or of you and your mate just hanging around outside boots before you could put it in. Preferably on an hour service. It was always exciting opening up that envelope! The odd “you’re shit and this pic is shit” stickers, your finger over half the lense, the blurry ones, the over processed (usually one of the last ones because you’d not wound it fully on before you opened it), shots of headless people…but it made the good pics even better ☺️📸📸

I genuinely feel sorry for the youth of today, who will never have that exciting experience, and also forty years later, won't have the fun of coming across a shoebox full of photos when clearing out the house and showing them to their other half: "Ooh, that was Mandy's birthday when we went bowling and Sarah sprained her wrist" etc.

I’ve decided to go with the Autumn crockery from M&S and am making it a theme. I’m stencilling it all over the kitchen and will buy the matching curtains. Still not the same as Eternal Beau.

This afternoon we’re going to my mum’s to see the wedding video. We’ve brought loads of duty free back from honeymoon.

I hated night's in nightclubs because it was so different to a Northern niter IE no drunken fools admittedly most of us were on amphitheatre aka speed.

Totally agree but at 14/15 we didn’t get much choice in where we went! Haven’t been inside that type of nightclub since I’ve been old enough to get in !

Amphetamine not amphitheater , agreed they were bloody awful places with terrible music.
I was 16 when first allowed to go to niters..my parents didn't know the half of it.
