Where did I say I didn't care ?

Jane! I didn't say you didn't care. Let's not fall out.

It is but I also suspect it’s to do with trying to NOT inflame an already precarious situation.

Not saying I agree with low arrests but if it places the police in more danger it’s the right call.

eta the not!

Edited

I agree. Also, all the two tier shite would start up again.

Agreed @SerendipityJane
I’m grumpy because it’s cold and racists are rising.

Musk also said "You either fight back or you die". Quote via the BBC or Channel 4 News.

There was thug protester saying Starmer should be assasinated, hopefully there will be a knock on his door soon

Fucking hell. We are down the rabbit hole now.

LlttledrummergirI · 13/09/2025 19:06

Isn't all violence coming from loopy leftists?

Oh wait...

SerendipityJane · 13/09/2025 19:13

LittleBowSheep · 13/09/2025 18:34

And what is the other way?

Loads of police in Central London ? Women not in central London a lot safer ?

Our civic duty visitors will pop up soon to tell us off

Loads of police in central London because Tommy Ten Names is having a 'protest'. It has to be policed. I'm sure they would much rather be doing other forms of policing right now.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/09/2025 19:31

In that Mirror piece it reported a speech at the march by Brian Tamaki. I've just looked him up - you'd really think we'd got enough loons of our own without bringing them in from NZ as well...

Arresting placid older people is do much better than drunken beefy middle aged thugs.

I think the point was that while the violent thugs are being policed in London, the women and children at home are safer for the violent thugs being in London.

What was the percentage of those arrested at the last riot that already had convictions for domestic abuse?

MsJinks · 13/09/2025 20:33

Just got back from the anti Tommy/anti fascist March.
There weren’t enough police - some escaped the many name side and surrounded us. I got to the coach ok but some had to be kettled at the top of Whitehall for protection.
Apparently it’s common the Tommy gang get bored and go to pubs and then get drunk (or high not to be judgy but from appearances) then get into attacking the anti March.
Most didn’t really go for it but a glass bottle missed my head and a fat guy told me I was tapped in the head - 🤷🏼‍♀️ as I wouldn’t live near them - umm I do and am safer near them!
A big disappointment is there were around 100k Tommy fans and 10k anti Tom - disturbing. One Tommy guy asked who’d bussed us in - we joined groups and paid our way - so not sure what they do?
Anyway I walked my talk and will keep believing there are more of us, but we have to work harder to match their numbers nationally and keep talking and spreading facts.

You didn’t care enough to know anyth8ng about it, or to think you should have. I don’t blame you really, it’s the way the discourse has always gone.

Well done for going. It's really courageous.

I’ve seen this and shared it on my SM. Love it.

I can just hear my old Maths teacher (Mr. Jones) saying it ...

PickAChew · 13/09/2025 21:04

Thank you for attending, @MsJinks - I expect the average Tommy fan has more free time on their hands and fewer responsibilities than most.

MsJinks · 13/09/2025 21:04

Not sure it’s courageous exactly- I have no direct care responsibility or partner, I’m not ‘quite’ decrepit! So I thought there’s no reason why I shouldn’t go, so actually I should.
I also have a remarkable lack of concern for personal safety in general, mainly as I believe you know if you are in danger. Just a couple of seconds I wondered if they’d let loose and start attacking - they seemed on the edge - these folk can be genuinely frightening, above all other things I’ve experienced in my decades.
Anyway, we were directed off the March to our coach, just as the horses went in and were ok, as were the kettled ones - whilst our coach had to move off as flag folk were around and one tried getting on! the organisers kept in close touch , organised other transport etc for them and they kept safe as well. Had some disco whilst waiting even - as we are happy folk!
The organisers and everyone on our side were extremely keen on safety - no one to be solo etc etc - their babysitting was awesome.
So I don’t probably agree with some parts of our sides politics but I chose to associate as this is bigger, and as some were saying this is getting too big now and some differences should probably be set aside right now for the joint venture of getting this type of right and hate politics back in its box.

PandoraSocks · 13/09/2025 21:09

@MsJinks you are really brave. Bastards for throwing a bottle at you. Thank God it missed.

itsgettingweird · 13/09/2025 21:09

Glad you stayed safe Msjinks and another who says thanks for going.

Being on the counter side to Tommy and his pals takes more than just a POV and passion.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/09/2025 21:18

Hats off to you for attending MsJinks.

I'm currently watching the last night of the proms on the telly. I'm sure that most of the Yaxley-Lennon marchers will have gone straight there to support the British Culture that they are so keen to defend.

Mind you they'd probably throw their hands up in horror as the conductor Elim Chan is both a woman and 'forrin' 😲

cardibach · 13/09/2025 21:20

Good work @MsJinks
If I lived closer I would definitely have considered it, but I might have chickened out. It’s getting to the point where I need to stand up and be counted though.
