I wish I had that luxury, but fully understand why others feel that way.
Our business wouldn't survive, so the thought of a massive financial crash makes my blood run cold.

Harriet Harman said the same on the Today programme this morning. I was thinking WTAF - it has to be a Northern woman? What about somebody COMPETENT who doesn't avoid paying stamp duty? Who doesn't indulge in creative accounting when it comes to the value of their family home? Who hasn't enriched themselves by moving money into and out of trusts that are supposed to be supporting their disabled child for life and using it to buying a shag pad by the sea with their new lover?

I often have the same thoughts.

I was just trying to explain that I feel exactly the same as you, until I think of what the reality of a crash would actually be like. I don't have fond memories of the last one.

When you get home from work and realise that you got up early, chopped and prepped food, filled the slow cooker, but didn't switch it on 🙄🙈

Blame peri/meno/post pause. That's what I blame everything on nowadays 😆

The senior Labour women are not particularly impressive … and knowing that the DPM was picked because she was a woman (rather than a competent person) won’t make the government look any better.
