It's not unlike mutton. If you haven't had that either, think lamb but much stronger.

We are band b. When we bought our house 25yrs ago, council tax was £64 a month. Now it's £178. I wish my salary had increased by 3x I that time.

It's like any other animal - it depends on the age and what cut you're using. I've only ever had it in varieties of spice - I once had it in a Chinese restaurant in a sauce with ginger and honey, absolutely divine.

Band C, well over 2000 per year, here. Some of the most expensive in the country.
