Are there phrases that people post on threads that, if loads of others agree, you know you should get out before it makes you angry/unhappy? And then you don’t, and you get angry and unhappy and you’ve got no one but yourself to blame?

Currently mine is “politics of envy”

Dogs/cats/pets should be banned.

Admittedly it doesn't happen often on MN and if it does appear it gets jumped on pretty quickly, but Karen - in any other context than someone's actual name. I absolutely loathe it.

when you get two people arguing with each other, neither of them the OP, I stayed up till 2am once reading one of these in real time as it was so entertaining. Regretted it the next day though so I try not to do it any more.

The point where people start accusing others of pearl clutching or frothing, particularly when accompanied by “OP, ignore all the posters who say …”

Something invariably quite innocuous described as ‘vile’. I can’t remember the last time I heard vile outside MN.
