Phrases that make you realise you shouldn’t stay on a thread…

Are there phrases that people post on threads that, if loads of others agree, you know you should get out before it makes you angry/unhappy? And then you don’t, and you get angry and unhappy and you’ve got no one but yourself to blame?

I HATE it when people talk about “piss” or “pissing”, especially when they’re referring to a child. I genuinely have no issue with swearing in general, but I really find piss so cringe and crude 😬 just makes me think of a bunch of rough blokes on a night out (I don’t really like “shitting” either but for some reason I don’t find it quite as jarring).

I left a thread today because someone used draw instead of drawer. I’m normally not overly bothered by incorrect spellings, but I can’t take a thread or the person behind it seriously where they think you store your clothes in a drawer.

Posting that you receive a few hundred pounds a month for several children with an ex-partner who does the bare minimum always prompts several replies about how the OP should consider themselves lucky as some people receive nothing etc. While true this race to the bottom is depressing.
