What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Ate too much yesterday as was extremely tired, need to pull out back after over eating on Sunday too

B: Protein shake and 2 slices of toast and marmite
L: whole tub of coconut laksa noodle soup
D: cabbage, tofu and cashew gochujang noodles

Loads of coffee, tea and squash

travelling for work today and entertaining clients that I haven’t met in person before, so no idea what I will end up with

Think I've got this bastard flu bug now. So I self -medicated with a big coffee and an M and S salted caramel chocolate bar. Mild improvement.

B: 2 slices buttered toast, tea, decaf coffee
S: Frothy coffee, Muller yoghurt, ginger nut biscuit
L: Stir fry Quorn pieces, with fresh carrot, broccoli, celery, red pepper, cucumber in packet Sweet & Sour sauce, with noodles and Thai crackers, followed by a pear & decaf tea.
S: Decaf coffee, Giant monster munch (half sharing bag)

Tea, buttermilk chicken, salad, 3 chips, frozen cherries, chocolate protein mousse, freeze dried chocolate raspberry that everyone says is delicious from aldi, actually yuk, candle wax chocolate, still ate it though.

Breakfast - slice of toast with butter
Lunch - a couple of veggie sausages with homemade sweet potato soup and bread
Dinner - More soup, veggie bacon, a slice of cheese on toast and some blueberries

On a diet at the moment and I’m all about the soup!

Toast and plum jam
Lunch- 2 slices leftover chicken pizza from work
Dinner will be cauliflower soup and the sandwich (cheese and chutney) I was intending for lunch.

Porridge mixed with half scoop of protein powder, topped with chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, blueberries, banana

BBQ beans on toasted sourdough

Taco mince, sweet potato wedges, cottage cheese, avocado, tomatoes

Jelly babies, chocolate truffle

We went to the garden centre, I had a halloumi wrap and a few chips, I only managed half so I have the rest for dinner! It’s boring pasta night, which I only ever eat the garlic bread element of, so works for me!

I’ve just had evil physio so I’ll look forward to my cheesy wrap.

We are going out for lunch again, avoiding the cleaner who was supposed to come yesterday. It’ll likely be a different garden centre to yesterday.

Ok, so half a toastie at lunch time with the salad garnish and a few crisps. Cheese and red onion.

Dinner was jacket potatoes, I had some really nice smoked streaky to use up so I made twice baked ones for me and DH. Couldn’t finish it, which is good as it had more fat in than I’d usually consume in a week 😆 very carb very cheese day.
