What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Smoothie - oat milk, vanilla pea protein, strawberries, banana

L lovely salad with everything in it plus bread and butter

D will be baked potato, cheese and more salad

Snack - Cadbury delight bar
dinner - leftover curry from last night

I’ve just bought some grenadine, and passion fruit syrup from that French brand beginning with T. I’m hoping it’ll encourage me to drink more fizzy water instead of fizzy drinks.

I also bought new hot chocolate, sugar free hazelnut, and Caramel syrups and some chocolate squirty cream, I’m leaning in to autumn! Tomorrow will be slow roast pork and then apple crumble.

Homemade chicken curry made with light coconut milk, peppers and courgettes. Wholegrain rice

Breakfast was the last piece of birthday cake and yogurt. Big cup of tea and squash.
Lunch was some nuts and Greek yogurt
Dinner was homemade stuffed garlic cheesy mushrooms and a high protein hm brownie 😋

Back to normal after eating whatever was quick and available.
Breakfast- Holland and Barrett 15 Plant porridge

Lunch- in the process of making wholemeal bread so it'll be that, cherry tomatoes, feta, courgettes.

Dinner, chicken and cabbage and lemon soup.

L - I got some reduced Jason’s sourdough so maybe some toast and a poached egg
d - oooh I’m excited! Slow roasted pork, green beans, courgettes, carrots, mash potatoes, sweetcorn, stuffing and homemade apple sauce. Pudding or apple crumble and custard. Most veg and the apples home grown. Not the sweetcorn this year; the birds!

B - poached egg on toast with fried tomatoes and mushrooms.
L- Greek yogurt, strawberries. Spoon of almond butter and honey.
D later will be veggie chilli

Snack - Smoky bacon crisps
Lunch - Probably spaghetti hoops on thickly buttered wholemeal granary toast with black pepper
Tea - Pieminister steak & Stilton pies, chips & peas

Pie monster made me smile. They’re really nice. I like the steak & ale & the ham, chicken & leek. Buy them in Tesco or Asda.

I went off-piste yesterday with dinner and had the sausages from a tin of beans and sausages, bread and butter and crackers and butter.

Today breakfast is Holland and Barrett 15 plant porridge
Lunch is banana and peanut butter smoothie
Dinner is the chicken soup.

@FurForksSake it's.... alright. There's very little fruit in it and the recommended serving size is miniscule so I double it (and it's still on the small side) and I don't think I'll bother with it again.
I only got it because it was reduced on Ocado!

After a week of eating terribly for my birthday back to proper healthy food

greek yogurt,mixed berries and granola

tomato ,avocado and basil salad with sourdough bread

Will be -
roasted chicken,new potatoes,peas and carrots with gravy
