What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Ah, if only, it was really average and the lunch I really wanted but couldn’t have would have been absolutely delicious.

B- protein oats and mandarin oranges
L- crusty bread roll with vegan butter, Gu desert, cherry coke
D-crusty bread roll with vegan butter, Gu desert, cherry coke
S- packet of ready salted crisps, vegan caramel choc bar

(today is my treat day and Im a fairly simple soul!!😊).

B: Greek yogurt with frozen strawberries and blueberries and a spoon of almond butter, squirt of honey on top.
L: wholemeal wrap with prawns, spinach, tomato and avocado, bit of mayo.
D: Singapore egg fried brown rice with prawns,spring onion and peas.

snacks: packet of puffed hula hoops, 2 chocolates from a box, some pineapple and a bite of DS’s pepperoni pizza

lunch - salad (mixed beans, quinoa, chicken, shredded spinach and kale, peoper, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots

evening meal - Aldi beef burger on toasted brioche, home made sweet potato chips, corn on the cob

Tea: prawn, mussel calamari, salad, protein mousse, cherries, frozen chocolate cherries fuck knows what I'll do when cherry season is over🤣, might be off mj by then, but they've been a go to for sure.

@FurForksSake I like the frozen ones with chocolate on, but can't be doing with the ordinary frozen ones, or tinned 🤮the texture is wrong.

Couldn't stomach breakfast

Planning on baked salmon, couscous & roast veg for dinner

Desk snack mid morning - yogurt with granola
Lunch: Fulfil peanut protein bar
Dinner (will be): beef stirfry with rice and veg

L - vegetable and tofu stir fry with Singapore noodles

going to a friends for dinner, we are having a Gousto meal, chicken and sweetcorn noodles apparently.

dinner is curry I’m having chicken pasanda with peshwari naan and onion bhajis with maybe some bits of the tandoori mixed starter.

L - 3 cream crackers with low-fat Philadelphia, a banana.
D - Home-made Chicken Jalrezi, a high-protein flatbread

snacks - 3 Rich Tea biscuits, 2 squares of chocolate.

I've been cleaning a hoarder's house so they can move and I'm knackered today. So food has been quick and easy to get.
Breakfast- sausage roll
Lunch- beans on toast
Dinner was mince and mash.

I shall eat vegetables tomorrow!
