What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Got up too late for breakfast.
Lunch- half tin of beans with sausages, two egg whites that needed using, cinnamon-raisin soda bread and some cheese grated on top. Marvellous.

Dinner will be keema, rice, probably plums.

Greek yogurt, berries, chia seeds, honey. Getting bored of this breakfast now!

M&S topped chicken caesar dip, and tortilla chips. Not my first choice but would have gone to waste otherwise.

Dinner will be mixed bean, pepper and sweet potato chilli with creme fraiche, avocado and rice.

Followed by few dates and square dark chocolate.

Breakfast: chia pudding made with 2 tbsp chia, 1 tbsp flax, 1 tsp creatine, 100g fat free Greek yoghurt, 1/4 banana, handful of raspberries. Splash of pistachio-flavoured oat milk.

Lunch: leftover roast chicken salad. Was lovely; it had an avocado and herb dressing.

Dinner: squash and chickpea soup/stew. I added pani puri spice mix and it had a very interesting flavour.

Snacks: a mini babybel, a peach, and an apple.

I’m on a weight loss journey so those days when I eat too much I just call a refeed and break in my deficit which is much needed 😆

ive had really bad nausea the last couple of days so have barely eaten anything.

I am painfully constipated so haven’t eaten much. Today I have had:

Breakfast: banana bread, yoghurt and blueberries

Lunch: dairylea dunker, 4 jammy dodgers and a kids sausage roll

Dinner: One Mango and 2 Kiwis.

2 litres of water

Spelt muesli, banana and milk
Two boiled eggs
Two plums
Slice of pineapple
Spicy seeds
Sardines on toast with tomato
Glass of milk
Curry made from leftover roast chicken

Today:
Holland and Barrett 15 Plant Porridge, which is quite nice but they stood well back when they were putting the fruit in, as my gran would have said.

Lunch, soup made from three bags of mixed leaves and some other bits, because I accidentally ordered 3 from Ocado and didn't really need one in the first place. Oatmeal bread.

Jacket potato, end of the keema, coleslaw, a lot of cherry tomatoes, maybe yoghurt and plum jam.

I’ve been ill for the last week or so and still not got much of an appetite, today so far I’ve had one piece of marmite on toast, a bag of crisps, a mouthful of tuna sandwich and a small piece of banana bread.

I have some left over stir fry for dinner.

Drink wise tea and mango juice.

A small amount of biscoff blondje at the garden centre with a cawston sparkling apple drink (very sweet and currently the mj is kicking my butt in a way it hasn’t in months)
a sausage in a piece of tiger bread baguette.

dinner should be tacos, but it’s jacket potato night, however I’m not sure I bought any! Chronic illness and pain means my memory and online food shopping can be a bit random.
