What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

@FurForksSake I read that as "sausage roll pizza" and got excited but alas I see they were two separate things.

No breakfast, can't be bothered
Veg bake, salad for lunch
Kidney bean casserole, turkey sausages, bit of jam sponge.

Sourdough toast & bbq baked beans

3 quorn picnic eggs, salt & vinegar crisps, aperol spritz

Beyond burger, cheddar cheese, air fried sweet potato chunks, rocket, tomatoes, mayo

Dark chocolate chips, 3 dates

Today:
Porridge and chia seeds, raspberry jam

Veg bake, salad, Heck chicken sausages (which are alright, but not very satisfying)

The last of the kidney bean casserole and some callaloo because my allotment neighbour gave me almost my bodyweight in it ♥️

Breakfast was peanut butter toast, lunch was some nuts and chocolate mousse, dinner will be a cheesy lentils bake with brocoli. Pudding is protein yog with left over strawberries.

B - nothing
L - yeo valley cream of veg soup (one of the 400ml ones from the chiller)
D - I have a sushi too good to go bag so I have salmon avocado crispy rolls, edamame beans with sea salt and teriyaki noodles.

Snack -
a raspberry doughnut from Morrisons Bakery.
2 home made lattes.

Might finish off with some Muller my protein salted caramel mouse later with some strawberries.

Absolutely blown my 1200 calories target today. Didn't realise how many calories would come in my too good to go so will have to be careful with that.

I've been recovering from a bad migraine all day (and still am, to a lesser extent now) so have been feeling really hungry but also very nauseous.Ive had a few packs of crisps (really been craving salt!), copious cups of tea with a few dunked biscuits to line my stomach for pain relief, some buttered cream crackers and a bowl of cornflakes with milk and sugar.

I do usually eat much better but my stomach and energy levels have been all over the place today.

A quark omelette and salad, which was bloody awful

Keema and callaloo.

I really, really want an enormous BBQ chicken pizza, onion rings and a chicken burger, but we move on.
