What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Dinner was chicken salad, chicken breast (cooked), spring onions, cucumber, leaves, cherry tomatoes a few garlic and herb croutons and some ceasaer dressing.

I missed breakfast today but had a little homemade cheese pastry late morning.

Lunch was a bit of quiche, sliced red pepper and a handful of crisps.

Snack was a mini chocolate bar with a cup of tea.

Dinner will be veggie meatballs and pasta.

It feels like winter here today so all I’ve wanted to do is eat crap! I’ve mostly avoided it but still not eaten very well.

B- banana

L- Sainsbury meal deal (vegan chicken wrap, peach tea, tub of pineapple and mango. Plus packet of crisps).

D- spinach salad, new potatoes and roasted tofu.
portion of tinned peaches.

S- roasted seaweed, Soreen cake bar, bowl of strawberries and blueberries with soya yoghurt and granola.

Breakfast was a yogurt bowl again with peaches and walnuts.

Lunch was a homemade chocolate protein mousse and lots of weak squash.

Dinner was roasted mushrooms new pots pepper and onion with chicken in a mustard sauce.

B: 2 slices toast with buttery spread, banana, tea, coffee.
L: mini cheddars, 3 Jaffa cakes, homemade blackberry gluten free muffin, tea.
D: homemade meat free spag bol. Dessert: Lemon Greek yoghurt, a pear. Decaf tea.

L small slice fritatta and mixed salad
half bar hazlenut chocolate

Droast chicken, roast potatoes, stuffing, roasted peppers, onions and garlic, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and gravy
lemon, blueberry and orange cheesecake

lots of cups of tea

Today I’ve had longley farm fat free cottage cheese which I added a couple of tinned pineapple rings to and two ryvita thins.

i need to eat a kiwi before they go off.

dinner is chicken. I know that as I got some out of the freezer. No idea what. Maybe a tray bake.

Horlicks porridge for breakfast, which I saw in B and M and thought looked nice but is actually bloody awful, doesn't cook properly and ends up like lumpy gruel.

Baked marrow, ham, salad, cherry tomatoes.

Marrow soup, new potatoes, rice pudding.
