Best crisps ever

What are they, in your opinion?

I want crisps.
I love them all though.
I can't go buy 20 different varieties.
(Or can I? 🤔)
There'll definitely be some Kettle Chips Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar in my basket.

What else should I get?

Finlays cheese & onion.

When I was young, I loved KP cheese & oinion.

Really like Kettles cheese & oninon as well.

‘Crisp’ crisps, golden wonder cheese and onion.

I used to work in a crisp factory in my teens. Still years later I’m not fed up with them lol
I do prefer a crinkle cut prob prawn cocktail.

I used to love those lamb and mint ones, walkers sensations? They don’t do them any more I don’t think:(

Has anyone mentioned Fiddlers Lancashire Crisps they are epic and I say this as a Yorkshire girl!

Crinkle cut are vastly superior to straight cut. Seabrooks are hard to beat.

Hard agree with PP saying Taytos best cheese and onion crisps ever.

For posh crisps, I love the Tyrell black pepper crisps - just utterly peppery and oily and delicious.

Does anyone remember Walkers Spring Onion? They were great!

I'd have to say Walkers Cheese and Onion overall, with special mention for Skips and Walkers Smoky Bacon.

Seabrooks every time. Canadian ham being my favourite! Reasonable priced too, so happy they are now available in the south of the country.

Also, did anyone try the Walkers Sensations Easter limited edition pork and apple ones? Absolutely disgusting - like meat fat!

Have you had these recently? Thought they were discontinued! Would love it if they were back.

Criteria are:
Must be proper potato crisps made out of whole, non-reconstituted, slices of potato. Crinkled permitted. Baked not permitted!
Best flavours: salted, cheese and onion, prawn cocktail
Premium brands (Seabrook, Tyrrell etc) preferable. Kettle chips are too crunchy though.

Just off to Costco to buy their giant (80 packs) box of Seabrook crisps, 20 of which are prawn cocktail. DP hates them, so they're all mine! Do you know anyone with a Costco card?

Smiths cheese & onion square crisps. Not even sure if they still make them.

The best crisps ever were Seabrook straight cut cheese & onion BUT from back in the days before crinkle cut came along and ruined everything!
A decent ready salted will do me now, nothing fancy like a kettle chip, just a plain cut crisp.

Chips de Barcelona or Torres crisps are my favourites. I love crisps and try just to buy those as a treat with wine at the weekend. I’m also partial to Lays ready salted and you can get 3 enormous bags of those from Costco for about £6.
