So much choice today but I'll keep it simple and traditional: fish, chips, scraps, salt and vinegar. There's two shops I frequent - never known if it's cod or haddock.

Small fish, cone of chips, mushy peas (ig theyre decent) - lots of salt and vinegar.

I used to go to a place that did a battered deep fried cheddar cheese wedge.
It was so nice. I'll have that if your local does it please

I actually like the non brewed condiment, they used to sell it at Tescos but I haven't seen it for ages.

Identical situation happened to my friend (yes, a softy southerner) in a chippy in Scotland.
