Israel has nuclear arms and has refused to sign the Treaty of Non proliferation of Nuclear Arms.
Does that sound like a leadership we should be following and agreeing with.

I had to laugh at the Trump /Putin phone call and they both agreed the War between Israel and Iran has to stop.
If only that same logic was applied to the Ukraine war.

Israel attacked Iran to prevent it obtaining nuclear weapons given that Iran represents an existential threat to Israel - they have openly stated their intent to wipe Israel of fthe map even though there is NO dispute with Israel, it's ideological for them. Iran is a force for evil in the region. Look at what they have done to Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iraq. They are willing to fight Israel to the very last Arab. We're seeing now very clearly that Iran has zero compunction at targeting civilian areas. I

My lovely Iranian friend is upset about the civilian casualties in both countries. Because she's a decent human being. She is shedding no tears over the deaths of the Iranian leadership and IRGC and says that many Iranians are very happy over what's happening (while others are in shock and scared).

it's just that until now Iran has preferred using its proxies to attack israel rather than an open conflict which they know they'll lose. As I've said, Iran has been willing to fight Israel until the last Arab...until now.

Oh, you might find that many Muslim countries are VERY happy that Israel is doing this. Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, UAE, Saudi. They are all sick of Iran's meddling and the last thing they want is a nuclear Iran.

Iran is closely linked with the situation in the region. They fund Hamas and Hezbollah and want to wipe Israel of the face of the earth. They 'care' about Gaza and the Palestinians only in terms of how their ability to terrorise Israel and its citizens. Iran won't mind collateral damage, their aim is to destroy Israel and they support the 'free Palestine' cause to help with Iran's hostile attitude towards Israel.

Whether this is the beginning of WW3 or not is hard to say although since 9/11, ISIS and then Covid the world has changed beyond belief. There is a lot of hostility between regions and enemy states undermining each other using a range of underhanded methods, cyber attacks, influencing populations online, directing mass migration towards European member states, Russia and China are world leaders on this.

Israel wiping out Iran's nuclear facilities sounds like a good idea but naturally Iran retaliates and a this point in time it's anyone's guess what might happen next.

My husband was in professional army for few years. It's ARMY, not playground. If you are there-you should understand that you could be in real danger or even die at any time. This is the reason most of them leaving after wedding or kids born.

WW3 started in 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea.

Israel has been trying to prevent Iran gaining nuclear weapons for a very long time so this is not new. I think many countries including many Muslim countries will be quietly relieved their nuclear program has been set back.

1. Because Israel is a democracy and Iran is not and
2. Israel is right in the middle of a world order all of whom call for the complete destruction of Israel. Of course they must have nuclear weapons and

Iran kills or allows women and children to be killed all the time and we don't know the true number because it's hard to report in what is essentially a giant prison camp with different levels depending on your sex.

I agree OP. Quite surprised there are no more threads on this. Also quite surprised by people being so ok with Iran having nuclear weapons when their stated aim is to destroy Israel. Where do people think they’ll go after Israel?

This is what I’m hoping. If you look at photos of Iran before the regime took over, you will see it was a completely different country. People enjoyed freedom. Women were not oppressed and could wear what they wanted.
