OMG no it won’t, I’ve got nothing whatsoever to do with that. I only found out about tattle life a few days ago from a google search & I just want to set the record straight on a thread . If I post the reason why on a public thread I will be outing myself to the ‘influencer’

As posted above I dont think that would be a good idea, but if you want to set a record straight you can just post it here and I know someone will pick up on it as there's a mumsnet thread on there.

Its not really on to ask someone to post on your behalf

If something is posted on your behalf surely it will out you anyway! Noone knows you by your username but if the circumstances will out you you either post it yourself or forget it surely. It's not really good to ask someone to post for you.

@FunnyFleurs you asked me to post something on your behalf by PM, what is it you want posted? I’m not interested in trying to get some influencers side of the story over. Influencing shouldn’t be a job.

This ‘influencer’ is a daughter of a friend of mine & they have been estranged for a few years. This ‘influencer’ was called out for something & the amount of support she’s getting from her followers is crazy. I can’t be too sure if she has told them the actual truth or not but if she has & they are still supporting her well then I fear for humanity. From what I can gather from the thread the ‘influencer’ hasn’t been transparent with her followers & there’s a lot of speculation. Watching on for my friend & seeing the videos & comments is so difficult to sit back & watch. It’s really so unfair that the ‘influencer’ can get to say or imply whatever she wants & my friend doesn’t get to tell her side of the story & the actual truth of the situation

That’s sad @FunnyFleurs but asking me to post a random story (presumably I’d have to pretend to know this influencer and her family) is not how to solve it. Your friend needs to sort this herself. This is the whole issue with influencers; they basically spout a load of shite.

See the thing is I think anyone with a moral compass once told the back story they would understand why I’m putting myself out there & asking for help

You’re not putting yourself out at all, you’re asking someone else to. There’s other ways to tell your story besides tattle

Your tell me your version of events, then I go onto tattle and post that an anonymous person on Mumsnet asked me to say XYZ?

I can't make sense of that as the logical step. Just make a tattle profile then you can engage with people directly

if I could post on tattle myself I would. There’s a lot of speculation on the thread and I want to clear it up that’s all but anyhow that’s for the advice

FunnyFleurs, if it's something that's bothering you a lot because maybe it's about you or someone you know and the facts aren't straight then could you make an anonymous email account and message tattle mods. Or dm the tattle life mods on reddit.

I guess it comes down to how important the correction is to you personally. I'd advise waiting a bit though because if you don't, then anyone who reads here would put 2&2 together.
