Boris is 60 and though presumably pretty healthy and wealthy doesn't being 80 when your child is going to be at uni cause challwnges? I always think with these things you are risking a child becoming a care fiver at an early age or having a distorted view of a parent due to a large age gap.

The older Dad option also seems to the option for famous and wealthy men and personally I do not know many women in their bid 30s dating men who by some measures are pensioners.

Good luck to them though

Boris Johnson's wife Carrie announces arrival of fourth child

Oh dear lord a fourth ......?
The mind boggles

mids2019 · 24/05/2025 17:01

But for the wealth family isn't that an affordable luxury. I don't thromBosis will be bemoaning the child benefit cap. (I can't recall how many children he has gathered in total but he seems to have deep pockets for them all).

I don't know what to say that isn't unkind so I'll pipe down.
Actually, the safe arrival of a new baby is always to be celebrated so I'll say that.

Nine children with three mothers! They have enough money and the mother is young enough so new baby will have a privileged life. It’s not as if he will be needed for any hands on stuff.

shellyleppard · 24/05/2025 17:09

Doesn't he need to learn about contraception??? He's had enough practice....😁

McCartneyOnTheHeath · 24/05/2025 17:11

I knew Carrie would want a fourth to equal the family he had with his first wife.

Doggielovecharlotte · 24/05/2025 17:11

What an awful side affect of being anywhere near this man

I mean, I get the impression he genuinely wants to have all these children.

I just feel sorry for the two who were the result of affairs and presumably don't get to be part of the big mad family.

atotalshambles · 24/05/2025 17:15

I feel sorry for all the children really. Is must be difficult for the older ones especially.

shellyleppard · 24/05/2025 17:17

@MissScarletInTheBallroom the thing is he doesn't have a good reputation for being faithful ? Always seems to be looking for the next woman to get with....🙄

Reonie · 24/05/2025 17:20

I can't be the only one who never wants to hear of this man again, never mind in the context of him having sex at least 9 times if not more. UGH.

I think he's got to the' too old' stage now ( but who knows?) She didn't have any qualms about snagging a married man with 4 children anyway, so they deserve each other. She knows what she's getting.

I don't think he can remember how many he has either. Wasn't there a video clip of him a few years ago getting confused about how many kids he has 😂🤣 he does have a reputation for getting about though. But it's okay 'cause he's part of the elite.

Neetra30 · 24/05/2025 17:34

Why cant Boris focus on his existing kids instead of having more?
Exactly what PP said, imagine how his older kids would feel

Ellie56 · 24/05/2025 17:35

I feel sorry for all the kids having that twat for a dad.

I imagine this is the tip of the iceberg with him as your dad. He's been a grifter for years, it must be mortifying.

Ironfloor269 · 24/05/2025 17:36

The challenge is more having Boris Johnson as your dad, not that he is too old to be a dad.

They don't speak to him/ he doesn't acknowledge them/nannies are doing the bulk of the work so he gets the ego boost of people knowing he can still get it up to impregnate his young wife/young wife wants to have more kids and because of all of the above he is happy to oblige.

MidnightPatrol · 24/05/2025 17:37

I assume he doesn’t do a lot of parenting tbh.

Fairly typical of that generation, and even more typical with these second families with an older dad.

I feel sorry for his older kids, this must all just be a lot to take in. I understand he doesn’t have much contact with them either, so just all very messy.

ResidentPorker · 24/05/2025 17:37

I wonder what the Tories would say about a mother who had at least nine children by at least three different fathers, at least one of whom was conceived out of wedlock. In fact, I think I know what they'd say.

HollyBerryz · 24/05/2025 17:38

I didn't realise they'd even had no 3 let alone 4.

Tend to agree with this.

Having a child at 60in general I would say is a bad idea. But with the wealth, the mothers young age, and many siblings, family members and a good support network I’d say that child is going to be very privileged.

However, I did give a massive eye roll when I saw shed had a fourth.

It just all gives me the ick.

Not a family I’m keen on at all. And I think 4 is too many and unnecessary.

Reonie · 24/05/2025 17:40

Hasn't he got the unacknowledged one, the woman who got a peerage?

Neetra30 · 24/05/2025 17:42

But that's horrible.
I get that financially he can afford a big family but it's not just about money. Kids- even adult children need time with parents to show that they are loved, valued and appreciated.
You would think someone as rich as him would know this but I guess money doesnt buy common sense.
I hope his happiness was worth breaking his ex wives and children's hearts

MidnightPatrol · 24/05/2025 17:42

Imagine how much he’ll be spending on school fees.

His financial woes clearly behind now in the post-Prime Minister phase (I wonder how he’s making his money?)
