It's a huge country. I'm sure there are many who are jubilant that we're now on 'the right track'. My cousin married a German gal back in the 70s and said until the day he died her father said "What Germany needs is another Hitler" so there are bastards and lunatics everywhere and in every time.

As far as the people I associate with and the news I watch, feelings range from despair to dogged determination to extreme anger to hope & belief that we'll get through this. I tend to swing from one to the other. We protest and donate, but I think so many of us see Scrotus et al simply ignoring the protests, the law, and court orders and doing what they want. And we wonder what, if anything, will actually stop them. I expect that many in Germany in the '30s felt the same way.

This will be followed by reigning sovereigns followed by heads of states who will be seated in alphabetical order by country, in French.^

Have you listened to the West Wing Weekly podcast? It ran a few years ago, through part of Trump 1.0 so there a lot of comparisons to TWW and Trump! Lots of cast/writer interviews too so I’d highly recommend it if you haven’t listened before.

They use French, which explains why the US is seated with the 'E's. Royalty is seated before 'Heads of State' so the PoW will be before them. The rest according to French translation.
