Help me create a truly unhinged M&S Ocado shop

DH abroad for a week so alone with DC. Ocado slot booked. Will be on my period and they've been monstrous lately. M&S/Ocado treats are required - what are your best suggestions? I WFH so need lunches as well as snacks and evening meals. What are you throwing in the trolley? Online shopping is an art and I want to make this one a genius one!

Many thanks to whoever suggested Dell'Ugo Italian Pinsa with Truffle butter!

Dark chocolate covered cherries. Absolutely delicious and it's fruit so it's probably healthy!

Chocolate is cocoa.
Cocoa is a bean.
Beans are plants.
Chocolate is therefore one of your 5 per day

@MadamePeriwinkle you have beautiful handwriting! I now want to start a thread of people's handwriting 😁

pambeesleyhalpert · 17/03/2025 21:52

Oh what are they called. The frozen strawberries dipped in chocolate! So good!

Tiramasu. At least 3 lots of it.

I see your Tiramasu, and I raise you the Tiramasu Gelato. Divine.

MadamePeriwinkle · 17/03/2025 21:53

@Butteredtoast55 aw thank you!

I went to a middle school that drummed it into us...we had whole lessons and regular handwriting competitions, and I guess it stuck!

pambeesleyhalpert · 17/03/2025 21:55

Oh tons of ready meals for the kids as well

Sadly I chickened out when I saw the total (and a week before payday!), but I have a lovely holiday cottage booked in the summer for my 50th so I'm saving it for then!

Last time I went I split my weeks shop between M&S and Waitrose...if I'm self-catering I'm going to make it bougie!

M&S giant Yorkshire puddings
M&S triple chocolate/apple/blueberry hot cross buns
Frozen Crosta mollica pizzas
MS chicken kievs
MS frozen croissants
MS organic prosecco
Watermelon and candy floss grapes
Hackney gelato dark chocolate

The chocolate custard creams are undeniably an impressive feat of engineering, but they are too sweet for me. Will save the rest of the pack for guests I think!

I haven't eaten anything else. I may have over-ordered. Tiny burrata is tiny but ADORABLE.
