I dunno what I'm starting this thread for, tbh. I just really, really felt like I wanted to click a button saying I support Zelensky and reject Trump and Putin tonight.

I cannot believe what I’ve just witnessed! That was the most bullying, unprofessional behaviour I have ever witnessed from politicians (and I know a few!) Poor Zelenskyy.

I'm guessing that he's had much worse times over the last three years. But I just feel sick for him and for Ukraine.

I felt ill listening to it. Does that always happen behind the scenes or do political leaders normally behave like decent human beings?

I’m sure he has but to behave like that in public? I truly loathe those men - Trump is terrible, Vance is worse and Musk is the worst of the lot. There have been American presidents in the past whose policies you could find reprehensible but every single one of them behaved appropriately on the world stage. That was just jaw-dropping. The USA has lost any little bit of credibility and respect that remained to it.

I think thrashing out of deals normally happens behind the scenes between diplomats and then they wheel the politicians in for the final handshakes. This was a deliberate public humiliation.

Oh mate I think the division between Zelensky and Putin happened when Putin illegally invaded Ukraine, not when I created this poll.

Sadly, Ukraine is now lost. Reprehensible toad that he is, Trump is not entirely wrong. Without America, Ukraine doesn’t stand a chance. Europe is hardly in the best position militarily and will not be enough to repel Putin. The pair of them will take Ukraine’s resources between them and Taiwan will be next. China’s already conducting military exercises in the border.

I bet Trump supporting Americans loved it. They probably wanted Trump to punch him.

I had to turn it off. I honestly feel like if I watch Trump too often, I will start screaming and not be able to stop.
