I dunno what I'm starting this thread for, tbh. I just really, really felt like I wanted to click a button saying I support Zelensky and reject Trump and Putin tonight.

I can’t believe I’ve just read this. It’s the same difference. Gaza, West Bank etc. and Ukraine, we cannot stand by and turn a blind eye with innocent lives are being taken because that’s how world wars start.

At the end of the day the EU will happily cosy up to the UK again with this new world order at our door.

Esp as the really divisive people aren’t in power right now.

What is interesting about this thread, is despite a few people voting for that option, not one person has claimed that Trump and Putin are not on the same side.

It is worth watching the whole thing, always. It starts with Vance talking about the need for diplomacy, then Zalensky interrupting him to school him on how diplomacy doesn't work, cease fires are a waste of time and asking Vance what he knows as he's never been to Ukraine. It was arrogant and rude tbf. Then it really kicks off and moves into the retaliatory spat, which was also unhinged. But really without diplomacy and a ceasefire what do we have, endless killing? Personally the side I'm on is the 100s of thousands of young men on both sides being fed into the meat grinder. It needs to stop.
