Been gifted £2,000, with the only prerequisite being that it’s a treat for me (rather than the house etc). Please inspire me, what would you buy?

I'd have a really nice spa weekend somewhere.

Newyorklady · 27/02/2025 19:25

A holiday

OMGInShock · 27/02/2025 19:25

I would replace my 14 year old laptop....

FondantFancyFan · 27/02/2025 19:25

I would buy myself this emerald ring:

Emerald solitaire ring

I'd buy a weekend break in a fabulous spa. See yesterday's thread on this subject!

CocoapuffPuff · 27/02/2025 19:27

A holiday. On my own. Somewhere indulgent, warm and interesting.

mewkins · 27/02/2025 19:32

I'd buy a few things....half towards a good mattress (for me), Georg Jensen silver bracelet (possibly vintage) and perfume.

Enko · 27/02/2025 19:36

New wardrobe for me (and some neuhaus chocolates)

BobbyBiscuits · 27/02/2025 19:36

A mulberry bag?
Or something like a week or weekend away for you and a loved one?
Pay off debt? Bit dull that one...🤣
I'd probably want to put it towards a rhinoplasty but that's a very personal one!

Holiday (spa or not)
A piece of jewellery suitable for wearing most days
If something is left over - lots of books

Goatblu · 27/02/2025 19:37

A holiday somewhere warm and relaxing

Ohwelljusttoday · 27/02/2025 19:38

What a lovely thread

Ohwelljusttoday · 27/02/2025 19:39

I would add a special Airbnb break to a city I want to visit

Ohwelljusttoday · 27/02/2025 19:39

In a really nice accommodation

£1000 on a big item (spa break, jewellery, laptop if needed as above) then a treat each month for the rest of the year. £100 a month on a ticket/gig, nice meal or massage.
Just had a nice mini treatment and spa/pool day at local golf club through Groupon for £30 approx. I know Groupon or Vowcher isn't everyone's idea of a splurge.

LastTwoBraincellsFightingFor3rdPlace · 27/02/2025 19:43

How lovely! I’d have a facial and spa day 🙂

MichelleCancelled · 27/02/2025 19:45

A Georg Jensen ring and a holiday.

I'd visit my friend in Guernsey.

Cerialkiller · 27/02/2025 19:53

Laser treatment. Either hair removal or a facial laser treatment to get rid of my irritated red skin...or both.

Possibly mounjaro...
