Hey everyone,

Just thinking about how happy I was to discover tinned 'greek' gigantes beans.
They're delicious and go with loads of stuff, and don't need heating. From the corner shop too so v convenient.

I'd love to know anyone else's favourite foods in tins that require minimum prep. Preferably stuff that's a bit beyond baked beans, tuna, sweetcorn, soup... Ideally available in the UK!

Thank you and looking forward to some ideas x

Dd loved the m and s chicken in white sauce before she became veggie. I used to make a v quick pie/ slice , sheet ready roll puff pastry one half spread with filling, other folded over and crimped edges, delicious.
Tinned sardines are lovely, there's a great Jack Munroe ( sorry ) recipe where you bake them with cut up lemons, amazing.
Tinned pears are so super easy for deserts , this is my favourite desert recipe, it keeps well and is super easy and delicious, like a brownie but better

Anchovies, not much can't be improved with those ( or just eat them straight from the tin quite frankly )
