I was looking forward to interviewing Boris Johnson at Cheltenham, but regrettably I can’t go ahead with the event because I am not allowed make an audio recording or transcript of the interview.

As a journalist in conversation with a former PM at a public event, I can only proceed if we do it on the record. I’m sorry to have to pull out.

I don’t recommend it, certainly. Had excellent support from the NHS though.
Emergency (free) appointment at Specsavers. Thorough investigation, then sent immediately to a specialist eye clinic. Another thorough investigation, detailed advice, prescription. Free cos I’m in Wales.
I’m confused because I’ve read on here that ‘Welsh Labour’ have fucked up the NHS.

I haven't heard so much about Welsh NHS since the election, for some reason. Or about knowing what a woman is. Maybe I'm on the wrong threads.

Time for an unpopular opinion, forgive me……..I don’t find the 20mph limits in Wales a problem. I mean, I don’t live there but when we visit I can see the justification for them in 99% of the places they are situated. But on English social media they are apparently the Devil incarnate and Labour will make us all do them, all the time, in all the places

I’m fine witH the ones near me too (I live near Cardiff). I think in the rural areas some councils have gone a bit OTT but it’ll resolve over time.
