Thanks. I knew somebody would be able to find that. I couldn’t find the tweet from Blinken because I couldn’t remember who tweeted it.

BBC cancel interview with Bojo after Kuensberg "mistakenly" sent him her interview briefing notes!!

Meaning "someone found out, so i had to say it was a mistake"

Of course the US are happy. They get to keep their military base on Diego Garcia for the foreseeable future.
Mauritius is happy because it got its territory back.
Depending on the Treaty negotiations, the UK will likely have no responsibility for the Chagos Island people who were evicted from their homes; so presumably that means their door to UK citizenship is closing. You'd think that would make the far right happy - unless they really can't get past losing the Empire.
Having to understand all these consequences and international relations must be very hard for people who need help starting a fire.

Too many people are being held back by poor health and a broken NHS. It’s costing their talent, and our economy. With my government those who can work, will. And those who need support will get it.

I see it’s let’s not mention the elephant in the room time again. Amazing how often this comes up without mentioning the C word.

Number of people in UK out of work due to ill health growing by 300,000 a year

Data dashes hopes that effects of pandemic would subside and labour market would return to pre-Covid state

I've got my appointment through for neurology after being referred last week.

Anyone want to hazard a guess when it is?!

RafaistheKingofClay · 03/10/2024 21:39

I’ll go with December, since nobody’s claimed that.

Willowkins · 03/10/2024 22:03

@itsgettingweird was it last week and you only just got the letter?

How do you find threads?

OP posts:

@DuncinToffee assume you don’t mean physically find?

It’s too American heavy i guess algorithm needs more to work on, it was much calmer & rational than twitter but the bots & trolls are beginning find it and pile in with the abuse you see on twitter.

Is this like a sweepstake? Do we get a prize if we were right?

I went June because my original gallbladder consultation was meant to be April 25.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/10/2024 08:52

Only just found this - thanks for the new thread @DuncinToffee.
Cat has a new house now - gifted by a neighbour. I've noted it under a 'possible conflicts of interest' declaration

It's immaterial, since they'll probably cancel it just before and you'll have to wait for a new one.
